Book of Romans Chapter 10 (Israel) Bible Study

People today, are no different than those in Israel. Through Jesus Christ and Cross is the way of Salvation and not by Works (Water Baptism), which brings death in hell, because it rejects Jesus Christ, the Cross and Faith. The one thief on the Cross was Save, due to Faith in Jesus Christ. What I just said to you in the beginning of this study, is done out of self will, which also rejects Jesus Christ, the Cross and Faith. Those who are ignorant to the Word of God, will be rejected, because being ignorant lines right up with self will, which brings no Salvation to Heaven. Take a look at how the Church your going too, are they still keeping the ten commandments, which would be keeping the Mosaic Law, which would be like Baptizing by water and taking up Tithes out of compulsion, that is self will. God has already fulfilled that old covenant Law, which also brings no Salvation, just death and hell. In the new Covenant Law, we are Saved by Grace and not by Works. That means that we are Saved by Grace and Following the Will of Jesus Christ and keeping the Cross as our main focus, that my friends, is what bring Eternal Salvation and a New Life in Heaven. Everything else bring eternal death in hell, because it rejects Jesus Christ and what He did at the Cross. In the New Covenant, we are to tithe with a cheerful heart and not by force. We should Tithes 10 percent of our income with a cheerful heart, beacuse we Love Jesus Christ, Tithing by force is out of self will, that is not good, it rejects what God is trying to show you here. as you will see in scripture, in this study, You will see that Jesus is God. Jesus Christ is the Trinity, He is the Father, Son and the Holy Ghost, 3 in one. In Heaven, He is God, when on earth, He is Jesus Christ, when in Spirit, He is the Holy Ghost, thats the Holy Trinity. Lets get started with this study.
Romans 10:1-21 (KJV)
1 Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be Saved (Israel, as a Nation, wasn’t Saved, despite their history; what an indictment!). 2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God (should read, “for God”; they had a zeal which had to do with God as its Object), but not according to knowledge (pertains to the right kind of knowledge). 3 For they being ignorant of God’s Righteousness (spells the story not only of ancient Israel, but almost the entirety of the world, and for all time; “God’s Righteousness” is that which is afforded by Christ, and received by exercising Faith in Him and what He did at the Cross, all on our behalf; Israel’s ignorance was willful!), and going about to establish their own righteousness (the case of anyone who attempts to establish Righteousness by any method other than Faith in Christ and the Cross), have not submitted themselves unto the Righteousness of God (God’s Righteousness is ensconced in Christ and what He did at the Cross). 4 For Christ is the end of the Law for Righteousness (Christ fulfilled the totality of the Law) to everyone who believes (Faith in Christ guarantees the Righteousness which the Law had, but could not give). 5 For Moses described the Righteousness which is of the Law (tells us plainly that the Law did contain Righteousness, but Righteousness to which man could not attain due to his fallen condition), That the man which does these things shall live by them (Paul is saying that no matter how hard a person tries to render perfect obedience, he will not be able to). 6 But the Righteousness which is of Faith speaks on this wise (will proclaim the wonderful and beautiful simplicity found only in Christ), Say not in your heart, Who shall ascend into Heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:) (For one to be saved, one does not have to perform some great task such as bring Christ down in Person from Heaven. As we shall see, God’s Word is enough.) 7 Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (That is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.) (Christ does not need to be brought down from Heaven or up from the abyss to impart to the sinner forgiveness and Holiness. The Christian Message contains no impossibilities.) 8 But what does it say? (In other words, it says how to be saved!) The Word is near you (the Word of God), even in your mouth (speaks of the confession which must come from the mouth in order for one to be saved, even as Paul will say in the next Verse), and in your heart (proclaims the part of man in which Faith begins): that is, the Word of Faith, which we preach (presents the declaration by Paul that Justification is on the Faith-Principle, as opposed to the Works-Principle; it speaks of Faith in Christ and what He did at the Cross; in other words, every Preacher should “Preach Christ and Him Crucified”); 9 That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus (confess that Jesus is the Lord of Glory, and the Saviour of men, and that He died on the Cross that we might be Saved), and shall believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead (pertains to the Bodily Resurrection of Christ, as is obvious), you shall be Saved (it is that simple!). 10 For with the heart man believes unto Righteousness (presents the word “believing” in a mode of “thinking,” not of feeling; the “believing” has to do with believing Christ, and that His Sacrifice of Himself Atoned for all sin); and with the mouth confession is made unto Salvation (when Faith comes forth from its silence to announce itself and proclaim the Glory and the Grace of the Lord, its voice “is confession”). 11 For the Scripture says (combining parts of Isa. 28:16 with 49:23), Whosoever believes on Him (proclaims the fact that Salvation is reachable by all) shall not be ashamed (in essence says, “shall not be put to shame,” but rather will receive what is promised). 12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek (should read, “between the Jew and the Gentile”; all must come the same way, which is by and through Christ and what He did at the Cross on our behalf): for the same Lord over all is rich unto all who call upon Him (the riches of Grace will be given to all who truly call upon the Lord). 13 For whosoever (anyone, anywhere) shall call upon the Name of the Lord shall be Saved (speaks of the sinner coming to Christ, but can refer to any Believer and with whatever need; the Cross is the means by which all of this is done). 14 How then shall they call on Him in Whom they have not believed? (The great sin of mankind is the sin of “unbelief.”) and how shall they believe in Him of Whom they have not heard? (Ignorance is not Salvation. It is the business of the Church to take the Gospel to the world.) and how shall they hear without a preacher? (This reveals God’s Method of proclaiming His Message.) 15 And how shall they Preach, except they be sent? (Those who send the Preacher are just as important as the Preacher.) as it is written (Isa. 52:7), How beautiful are the feet of them who Preach the Gospel of Peace (presents the Message which, if accepted, will make things right between the sinner and God), and bring glad tidings (Good News) of good things! (It’s all made possible by the Cross.) 16 But they have not all obeyed the Gospel (all who hear the Gospel will not heed the Gospel). For Isaiah said, Lord, who has believed our report? ([Isa. 53:1] despite the fact of Who Christ was and what He did, only a few accepted Him as the Messiah.) 17 So then Faith comes by hearing (it is the publication of the Gospel which produces Faith in it), and hearing by the Word of God (Faith does not come simply by hearing just anything, but rather by hearing God’s Word, and believing that Word). 18 But I say, Have they not heard? (This proclaims Paul bringing the subject matter back to the Jews.) Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world (plainly proclaims the fact that Israel knew about Christ, and rejected Him anyway). 19 But I say, Did not Israel know? (There was no excuse for Israel not to know. They had the Word of God for their guide.) First Moses said (Deut. 32:21), I will provoke you to jealousy by them who are no people, and by a foolish nation I will anger you (some 1,600 years before Paul’s day, Moses Prophesied the acceptance of the Gospel by the Gentiles). 20 But Isaiah is very bold, and said (Isa. 65:1-2), I was found of them who sought Me not; I was made manifest unto them who asked not after Me (as Moses, the Prophet Isaiah predicted that the Gentiles would hear and receive the Gospel). 21 But to Israel He said, All day long I have stretched forth My hands unto a disobedient and gainsaying people (by their rejection of Christ and the Cross, the majority of Israel fashioned themselves into vessels of wrath through their self-will and unbelief; is the Church presently doing the same?).

16 Therefore thus says the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a Stone, a tried Stone, a precious Corner Stone, a sure Foundation: he who believes shall not make haste. (This Passage speaks of the Lord Jesus Christ. As Zion was not itself the Corner Stone, so the Church is not the Saviour. Christ is the “Stone,” but sadly almost the entirety of the world stumbles over this “tried Stone.” Every “foundation” that is not “Jesus Christ and Him Crucified” is built upon “lies” and “falsehood.”)

23 And kings shall be your nursing fathers, and their queens your nursing mothers: they shall bow down to you with their face toward the Earth, and lick up the dust of your feet; and you shall know that I am the LORD: for they shall not be ashamed who wait for Me. (This is said in anticipation, and will definitely come to pass at the conclusion of this three and one half year period at the Second Coming of the Lord.)

10 And I heard a loud voice saying in Heaven (presents the white-robe wearers of Rev. 6:10-11), Now is come Salvation, and Strength, and the Kingdom of our God (presents the triumph of Christ), and the power of His Christ (refers to the fact that Christ will rule this world, not Satan): for the accuser of our Brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. (This implies that either Satan or one of his fallen angels is before the Throne of God, accusing the Brethren constantly [Job, Chpts. 1-2].)

(It is certain that the Lord will “Judge” and “Avenge” [Mat. 12:36].) 11 And white robes were given unto every one of them (symbolizes the Righteousness of the Saints [Rev. 19:8]); and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their Brethren, who should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled. (They will have to wait until the conclusion of the Great Tribulation, probably about another five years.)

11 And I saw a Great White Throne (proclaims the final Judgment of the unredeemed, which will take place at the end of the Kingdom Age), and Him Who sat on it (proclaims none other than God; however, we must understand that it is the Person of the Godhead, the Lord Jesus Christ [Mat. 25:31]; He is the Saviour today; He will be the Judge tomorrow), from Whose face the Earth and the Heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. (This means a New Heaven and New Earth are in the offing.) 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God (pertains to the second Resurrection, the Resurrection of Damnation [I Cor., Chpt. 15; I Thess. 4:13-18; Jn. 5:29]); and the Books were opened: and another Book was opened, which is the Book of Life: and the dead were Judged out of those things which were written in the Books, according to their works (proclaims the manner of Judgment). 13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and Hell delivered up the dead which were in them (points to the fact that every unredeemed person who has ever lived will face the Great White Throne Judgment; none will be exempted): and they were Judged every man according to their works (records the fact that this Judgment is not arbitrary, but is based on absolute Justice). 14 And death and Hell were cast into the Lake of Fire (combined, includes the wicked of all ages). This is the second death (Eternal separation from God and the Lake of Fire). 15 And whosoever was not found written in the Book of Life (refers to the record of all the unredeemed) was cast into the Lake of Fire. (This includes every single individual who isn’t Redeemed, beginning with Adam and Eve. That is, if they didn’t come back to God.)

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 (KJV)
13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, Brethren, concerning them which are asleep (refers to Believers who have died), that you sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. (This concerns those who do not know the Lord who will have no part in the First Resurrection of Life and, therefore, no hope for Heaven.) 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again (the very Foundation of Christianity is the Death and Resurrection of Christ; it is the proof of life after death in a glorified state for all Saints in that life, which incidentally will never end), even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him. (This refers to the Rapture of the Church, or the Resurrection of all Believers, with both phrases meaning the same thing, even as Paul describes in I Cor., Chpt. 15. At death, the soul and the spirit of the Child of God instantly go to be with Jesus [Phil. 1:23], while the physical body goes back to dust. At the Rapture, God will replace what was the physical body with a Glorified Body, united with the soul and the spirit. In fact, the soul and the spirit of each individual will accompany the Lord down close to this Earth to be united with a Glorified Body, which will then make the Believer whole.) 15 For this we say unto you by the Word of the Lord (presents the Doctrine of the Rapture of the Church as the “Word of the Lord”), that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord (all Believers who are alive at the Rapture) shall not prevent them which are asleep. (This refers to the fact that the living Saints will not precede or go before the dead Saints.) 16 For the Lord Himself shall descend from Heaven with a shout (refers to “the same Jesus” which the Angels proclaimed in Acts 1:11), with the voice of the Archangel (refers to Michael, the only one referred to as such [Jude, Vs. 9]), and with the Trump of God (doesn’t exactly say God will personally blow this Trumpet, but that it definitely does belong to Him, whoever does signal the blast): and the dead in Christ shall rise first (the criteria for being ready for the Rapture is to be “in Christ,” which means that all who are truly Born-Again will definitely go in the Rapture): 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up (Raptured) together with them (the Resurrected dead) in the clouds (clouds of Saints, not clouds as we normally think of such), to meet the Lord in the air (the Greek word for “air” is “aer,” and refers to the lower atmosphere, or from about 6,000 feet down; so, the Lord will come at least within 6,000 feet of the Earth, perhaps even lower, with all the Saints meeting Him there; but He, at that time, will not come all the way to the Earth, that awaiting the Second Coming, which will be seven or more years later): and so shall we ever be with the Lord. (This pertains to all the unsaved, in fact, all those who lived and died since the dawn of time. The souls and spirits of these people are now in Hell [Lk. 16:19-31].) Do you want to get Saved today and have a Chance to make it to Heaven?
As we have studied, God’s Word is enough. You don’t have to do self will for Salvation, you will never get Saved that way. Keeping the ten commandments only show’s your failures, there is no Salvation in that. Listen Friends, When Jesus Christ died on the Cross at Calvary, the old Law as already been fulfilled. to be Saved, all you have to do is to Accept Jesus Christ into your hearts and Believe in what He did for you at the Cross, its that simple. The Churches that adds Works to Salvation, is doomed for hell, unless they repent of it of course, because they are complicating Salvation and confusing the souls that were already confused, just making Salvation worse for them, which rejects Jesus Christ and the Cross, their souls will end in hell fire, because of ignorance. If you wish to be Saved today, listen friends, tomorrow is not promised to you. If you are living in sin and if you happen to go outside and get hit by a car or bullet and you die in your sins, you will go to hell. Another example, if you have accepted Jesus Christ and believe in what Jesus Christ did at the Cross and you go outside and get hit by a car or bullet and you physically die from it, you will go to Heaven to be with Jesus Christ, God Almighty. One more thing to share, if you are Saved, you no longer have the rights to live in sin no longer, because you have become a child of God. It takes a heart of a child to get to Heaven. So, Your Phd’s, your high college degree’s, your diploma’s, your expensive cars, your expensive clothes, your high paying job, your expensive house, your unsaved boy friends, girlfriends, husbands, wife’s, can’t Save you and docent mean anything, because Living for God, through Jesus Christ and the Cross, is the Only thing that matters. He created you to Live, to Glorify, Edify and to Praise God and that is it. Nothing in this world really matters. If you are not Saved and right with God today, you then are living in vain and will not be Saved. In closing, we are going to read the Lord’s Prayer. I Truly pray and hope that you will read this out load, will accept Jesus Christ in your hearts and get Saved by God, through Jesus Christ. For those of you in this room, I will read it out load and you all here today, repeat it out load as well.
