GOD'S WAY OF LIVING

Friends, there is a rule for living this life and its not man's way of living. There are people who may list things that they say are reasons or ways to live but, they are dead wrong. God gave the Law of living life to Moses, to write them down, however, this Law will not Save anyone but, will show you, your sins, there is no Salvation in this Law. Salvation to be Saved, did not come into play, until after Jesus Christ was Crucified at the Cross. What about the theives on the Cross? One thief went to hell, for rejecting Jesus Christ (whom God is, in human form). The other thief was Saved and went to Heaven, due to the fact that he has repented with Believing and having Faith in Jesus Christ. Those who have died before the death of Jesus Christ, some went to hell for unbelief and some went to Heaven for Believing in the Law of God.

Exodus 20: 1-17 CHAPTER 20 (1491 B.C.)

THE TEN COMMANDMENTS

1 And God spoke all these words, saying (the Ten Commandments given by God to Moses on Mount Sinai are the foundation of all law, at least law that is righteous, for the entire world; it is the moral Law of God and, as such, cannot change), 2 I am the LORD your God, which have brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage (the Lord doesn’t appeal to the Israelites as Creator, even though He definitely was that; He appealed to them as their Deliverer; as a result, He was to be obeyed by His people from a sentiment of love, not by fear). 3 You shall have no other gods before Me (the manner in which this First Commandment is given indicates that each individual of the nation is addressed severally, and is required personally to obey the Law, a mere general national obedience being insufficient; this Commandment requires the worship of one God Alone, Jehovah; it implies, in point of fact, that there is no other God). 4 You shall not make unto yourself any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in Heaven above, or that is in the Earth beneath, or that is in the water under the Earth. 5 You shall not bow down yourself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them who hate Me; 6 And showing mercy unto thousands of them who love Me, and keep My Commandments. (The prohibition intended here does not forbid the arts of sculpture, painting, photography, etc., or even to condemn the use of them, but to disallow the worship of God under material forms. Those who ignore this Commandment are guilty of the sin of idolatry. Also, many have tried to derive from Verse 5 that which they refer to as the “family curse”; however, let it be known and understood, every curse was addressed at the Cross of Calvary [Gal. 3:13-14]. As well, Jesus has perfectly kept all the Commandments, and all who trust Him, and what He did for us at the Cross, are participants of God’s gracious Mercy.) 7 You shall not take the Name of the Lord your God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless who takes His Name in vain (taking the Name of the Lord in vain pertains to all blasphemy, all swearing, all perjury and, in fact, all irreverent use of God’s Name in ordinary life). 8 Remember the Sabbath Day, to keep it holy. 9 Six days you shall labour, and do all your work: 10 But the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD your God: in it you shall not do any work, you, nor your son, nor your daughter, your manservant, nor your maidservant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger that is within your gates: 11 For in six days the LORD made Heaven and Earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed hallowed it. (The seventh day was not so much to be a day of worship, as we think of such now, but rather a day of “rest.”Even the very beasts, pressed into man’s service since the Fall, shall rest. All were to observe this day. Everything pertaining to the Law of Moses, in some way, spoke of Christ. The “Sabbath”was no exception. It was meant to portray the fact that there is “rest”in Christ and, in fact, that there is rest “only in Christ”[Mat. 11:28-30]. So, when a person presently accepts Christ, they are in effect keeping the Sabbath, which of the “rest”that we have in Christ —rest from self-effort to attain unto Righteousness. Even though there was no written command by the Holy Spirit to do so, gradually we find Believers, during the time of the Early Church, as recorded in the Book of Acts, making Sunday, the first day of the week, the day of our Lord’s Resurrection, their day of worship, etc., which is different than the Sabbath of old, because Christ has fulfilled in totality the old Jewish Sabbath.) 12 Honour your father and which the LORD your God gives you (honoring the father and the mother sets the stage for the honoring of God; the first five Commandments have to do with man’s obligation toward God, while the last five have to do with his obligation toward his fellowman). 13 You shall not kill (should have been translated, “Thou shalt do no murder”; God, in His Holy Word, commands magistrates to put evil men to death [Rom. 13:4]; that is not murder; to “kill”and to “commit murder”are two different verbs in the Hebrew Text). 14 You shall not commit adultery (regarding this sin, both man and woman are placed in the same category; our duty toward our neighbor is to respect the bond on which the family is based, and that conjugal honor which to the true man is dearer than life; marriage, according to the original institution, makes the husband and wife “one flesh”[Gen. 2:24]; and to break in upon this sacramental union was at once a crime and a profanity; it is a sin against man and against God). 15 You shall not steal (as it regards our neighbor, we are to respect his property; we simply don’t take that which doesn’t belong to us). 16 You shall not bear false witness against your neighbour (false witness is of two kinds, public and private; we may either seek to damage our neighbor by giving false evidence against him in a court of justice, or simply culminate him to others in our social intercourse with them). 17 You shall not covet your neighbour’s house, you shall wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is your neighbour’s (covetousness addresses what causes the evil deed; this Commandment teaches men that there is One Who sees the heart; to Whose Eyes “all things are naked and open”; and Who cares far less for the outward act than the inward thought or motive from which the act proceeds).

Matthew 5:17-20

CHRIST AND THE LAW

Think not that I am come to destroy the Law (this was the Law of Moses), or the Prophets (the predictions of the Prophets of the Old Testament): I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill (Jesus fulfilled the Law by meeting its just demands with a Perfect Life, and satisfying its curse by dying on the Cross [Gal. 3:13]). 18 For verily I say unto you (proclaims the ultimate authority!), Till Heaven and Earth pass (means to be changed, or pass from one condition to another, which will take place in the coming Perfect Age [Rev., Chpts. 21-22]), one jot (smallest letter in the Hebrew alphabet) or one tittle (a minute ornamental finish to ancient Hebrew letters) shall in no wise pass from the Law, till all be fulfilled (the Law was meant to be fulfilled in Christ, and was in fact, totally fulfilled by Christ, in His Life, Death, and Resurrection, with a New Testament or New Covenant being brought about [Acts 15:5-29; Rom. 10:4; II Cor. 3:6-15; Gal. 3:19-25; 4:21-31; 5:1-5, 18; Eph. 2:15; Col. 2:14-17]). 19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least Commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the Kingdom of Heaven (those who are disloyal to the authority of the Word of God shall called the least,”means that he will not be in the Kingdom at all): but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven (the Lord sets the Bible as the Standard of all Righteousness, and He recognizes no other). 20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the Scribes and Pharisees (which was self-righteousness), you shall in no case enter into the Kingdom of Heaven (the absolute necessity of the New Birth is declared here as imperative in every case).

Ephsians 2:8 For by Grace (the Goodness of God) are you Saved through Faith (Faith in Christ, with the Cross ever as its Object); and that not of yourselves (none of this is of us, but all is of Him): it is the Gift of God (anytime the word “Gift”is used, God is speaking of His Son and His Substitutionary Work on the Cross, which makes all of this possible):

John 1:12 But as many as received Him (some did receive Him, and some do receive Him), to them gave He power to become the sons of God (constitutes one of the greatest Promises in the Word of God), even to them who believe on His Name (Faith in Christ and in what He has done for us at the Cross alone can make a person a “son or daughter of God”):

Romans 6:1-2 What shall we say then? (This is meant to direct attention to Rom. 5:20.) Shall we continue in sin, that Grace may abound? (Just because Grace is greater than sin doesn’t mean that the Believer has a license to sin.) 2 God forbid (presents Paul’s answer to the question, “Away with the thought, let not such a thing occur”). How shall we, who are dead to sin (dead to the sin nature), live any longer therein? (This portrays what the Believer is now in Christ.)

As you have just read for yourselves, from the True Word of God, of what He requires for you to be Saved and to make it to Heaven. The Ten Commandments is something that should be looked at as a model to live by, since no one can keep the Law of Moses, which God gave us, He came down to earth as Jesus Christ, to die at the Cross, for the atonement of sin. Now, that is where God's Grace comes in at, which is done through the following, Repentance at the Cross, Belief in the Cross and in Him Crucified, that is the Only means, for Salvation, meaning, being Saved through God's Grace. He who denies this Truth, will go to hell, when they die.

WHAT DOES GOD SAY ABOUT THOSE WHO ARE IGORANT TO HIS HOLY WORD.

WHAT DOES GOD SAY ABOUT THOSE WHO ARE IGNORANT TO HIS HOLY WORD.

Proverbs 27:12 A prudent man foresees the evil, and hides himself; but the simple pass on, and are punished. (God calls “prudent”those who know, understand, and live by the Bible. God calls “simple”those who do not believe the Bible, or else do not take the time to study its contents.)

Ephsians 4:18 Having the understanding darkened (speaks of a process completed in the past [the Fall] but having results in the present), being alienated from the life of God (proclaims the only true life there is) through the ignorance that is in them (does not refer merely to intellect, but denotes an ignorance of Divine things), because of the blindness of their heart (it is a “willful ignorance”which brings about a “willful blindness,”i.e., “spiritual blindness”):

Hosea 4:6 My People are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because you have rejected knowledge, I will also reject you, that you shall be no Priest to Me: seeing you have forgotten the Law of your God, I will also forget your children. (“My People are destroyed for lack of knowledge,”is the cause of all the problems in the church, and the world, for that matter! The “knowledge”spoken of is the Bible. This “lack of knowledge”was not ignorance, but rather a willful rejection of the Law of God. They didn’t know, but it was because they didn’t want to know!)

Acts 17:30  And the times of this ignorance God winked at (does not reflect that such ignorance was Salvation, for it was not! before the Cross, there was very little Light in the world, so God withheld Judgment); but now where to repent (but since the Cross, the “Way”is open to all; it’s up to us Believers to make that “Way”known to all men):

James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom (pertains to proper knowledge of the Word of God), let him ask of God, Who gives to all men liberally (the Lord gives to those who ask, providing they ask the right thing; a greater knowledge of the Word of God is always the right thing), and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. (This means when we ask wisdom of Him, He will not reproach or chide us for our past conduct. He permits us to come in the freest manner, and meets us with a spirit of entire kindness, and with promptness in granting our requests.)

1 John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit (behind every doctrine there is a “spirit”; if it’s true Doctrine, the Holy Spirit; if it’s false doctrine, evil spirits), but try the spirits whether they are of God (the criteria is, “is it Scriptural?”): because many false prophets are gone out into the world (and they continue unto this hour).

Matthew 7:21-23 Not every one who says unto Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven (the repetition of the word “Lord”expresses astonishment, as if to say: “Are we to be disowned?”); but he who does the Will of My Father which is in Heaven (what is the Will of the Father? Verse 23 tells us). 22 Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not Prophesied in Your Name? and in Your Name have cast out devils? and in Your Name done many wonderful works? (These things are not the criteria, but rather Faith in Christ and what Christ has done for us at the Cross [Eph. 2:8-9, 13-18]. The Word of God alone is to be the judge of doctrine.) 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you (again we say, the criteria alone is Christ and Him Crucified [I Cor. 1:23]): depart from Me, you who work iniquity (we have access to God only through Christ, and access to Christ only through the Cross, and access to the Cross only through a denial of self [Lk. 9:23]; any other Message is Judged by God as “iniquity,”and cannot be a part of Christ [I Cor. 1:17]).

Ezekiel 33:6 But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman’s hand. (Two types of warnings are given in this Passage: the “warning”that should be given to the people by faithful watchmen; and the “warning”that should be given by the Holy Spirit to unfaithful watchmen.)

Proverbs 22:3 A prudent man foresees the evil, and hides himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished. (The “prudent man”is the one who lives his life by the Bible and, therefore, “foresees evil.”He can, therefore, protect himself from its environment. The “simple”can be likened to those who do not know or believe the Bible and are, therefore, ignorant of the vicissitudes of the spirit world.)

James 1:6 But let him ask in Faith (some accuse James of denigrating Faith; however, he actually does the very opposite, things), nothing wavering (nothing doubting). For he who wavers is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. (He who continuously veers from one course to another only reveals his own instability and lack of a sense of being under Divine control.)

1 Corinthians 14:33 For God is not the Author of confusion, but of peace (the Holy Spirit will never contradict Himself), as in all Churches of the Saints. (These instructions given by Paul pertain to all Churches, and not merely the Church at Corinth.)

Luke 12:40 40 Be you therefore ready also: for the Son of Man comes at an hour when you think not (regrettably, most of the modern Church doesn’t think the Rapture will take place; this means that it will definitely take place, and very soon!).

Jesus Christ, God Almighty can and will come, with warning or without. Either way, if you get taken in your sins and you do not Repent and turn away from Satan's sinful nature, you will go to hell. The Word of God, that I have been sharing with your lost souls, are Warning letters from God and You better heed His Warnings, is being shared in hopes that you come to Jesus Christ and to the Cross, in Repentance and get Saved. If you are not Reborn Again, you then are hell bound and not Saved. If you are Reborn Again? You then have no license to sin no more. If you are a continuing to be Christian and living in sin, you then are not Saved. There is no such thing as sin, being allowed to enter into the Kingdom of God and if sin comes into Heaven, it will then will be burnt by Fire. You must Repent, turn away from Satan's Sin Nature, in order to be Saved. God is a Loving and forgiving God but, if you don't Repent and admit that God is right and you are wrong? It will be hell for your souls. May God be with you in your decisions on this side of the grave. God Bless

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS GLOBAL WARMING.

This goes back to idol worship and this lie of global warming is a lie from and of Satan. Anyone who believes in this lie, is in grave dangers of worshipping and believing in this lie, of going to hell. No one should Worship any other God except, Jesus Christ (whom God is), and believe in the Cross and in Him Crucified. I am going to prove to some of you who are that ignorant, through the Word of God that, global warming is straight from the pits of hell.

Geneses 8:22 While the Earth remained, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease (the Promise is given here that the seasons of the year will continue forever, because the Earth will remain forever).

Revelation 8:7 The first Angel sounded (the first Trumpet Judgment), and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth (this will be literal, and will be a fulfillment of the Prophecy of Joel [Joel 2:30-32]; this is similar to the seventh plague upon Egypt [Ex. 9:22]): and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up (probably refers to a third part of the Mediterranean area being affected; even though all of this will affect the entirety of the Earth, as would be obvious, the greatest concentration will be in the Middle East).

Deuteronomy 29:22-25 So that the generation to come of your children who shall rise up after you, and the stranger who shall come from a far land, shall say, when they see the plagues of that land, and the sicknesses which the LORD has laid upon it; 23 And that the whole land thereof is brimstone, and salt, and burning, that it is not sown, nor bears, nor any grass grows therein, like the overthrow of Sodom, and Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboim, which the LORD overthrew in His anger, and in His wrath: 24 Even all nations shall say, Wherefore has the LORD done thus unto this land? what means the heat of this great anger? 25 Then men shall say, Because they have forsaken the Covenant of the LORD God of their fathers, which He made with them when He brought them forth out of the land of Egypt:

Jude 1:7 7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner (the Greek Text introduces a comparison showing a likeness between the Angels of Verse 6 and the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah; but the likeness between them lies deeper than the fact that both were guilty of committing sin; it extends to the fact that both were guilty of the same identical sin), giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh (the Angels cohabited with women; the sin of Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them, was homosexuality [Rom. 1:27]), are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire (those who engage in the sin of homosexuality and refuse to repent will suffer the vengeance of the Lake of Fire).

Zephania 3:8 8 Therefore wait you upon Me, says the LORD, until the day that I rise up to the prey: for My Determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them My Indignation, even all My fierce Anger: for all the Earth shall be devoured with the fire of My Jealousy. (This Passage actually has to do with the coming Battle of Armageddon, which will precipitate the Second Coming [Rev. 16:13-17].)

2 Chronicles 7:14 If My People, who are called by My Name (Believers), shall humble themselves (humility), and pray, and seek My Face (the prayer of Repentance), and turn from their wicked ways (which proclaims the manner of true Repentance); then will I hear from Heaven (but not otherwise), and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land (God’s Prescription for spiritual sickness).

Revelation 16:9 And men were scorched with great heat (as the next Verse states, this is done only in the geographical area of the Antichrist), and blas phemed the Name of God, which has power over these plagues (those in the geographical area of the Antichrist will know that God is doing this, but yet will continue to blaspheme His Name): and they repented not to give Him Glory. (This tells us something about the hearts of men. It is seldom that miracles bring men to Repentance. Repentance must come from the heart and stem from Faith, which must ever have Christ and the Cross as its Object.)

Satan

Revelation 20:7-9  And when the thousand years are expired (should have been translated, “finished”), Satan shall be loosed out of his prison (is not meant to infer a mere arbitrary act on the part of God; He has a very valid reason for doing this), 8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the Earth, Gog and Magog (the main reason the Lord allows Satan this latitude is, it seems, to rid the Earth of all who oppose Christ; George Williams says: “The Creation Sabbath witnessed the first seduction, and the Millennial Sabbath will witness the last”; the “Gog and Magog”spoken of by John is a Hebrew term expressive of multitude and magnitude; here it embraces all nations, “the four quarters of the Earth”), to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea (proclaims the fact that virtually all of the population at that particular time, which did not accept Christ during the Kingdom Age, will throw in their lot with Satan). 9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the Saints about, and the beloved city (pictures Satan coming against Jerusalem with his army, which will be the last attack against that city): and fire came down from God out of Heaven, and devoured them. (Stipulates that the Lord will make short work of this insurrection. In fact, very little information is given regarding this event, as is obvious.)

2 Peter 6 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow (tells us in no uncertain terms what God thinks of Sodomy), making them an example unto those who after should live ungodly (Sodom and Gomorrha were meant as a warning);

DESTRUCTION OF THE UNGODLY

Malachi 4:1  For, behold, the day comes, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yes, and all who do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that comes shall burn them up, says the LORD of Hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch. (“For, behold, the day comes,”has a double meaning: 1. It refers to the coming Battle of Armageddon, which will precipitate the Coming of the Lord, Who will come with flaming fire; and, 2. It refers to the “Great White Throne place after the Millennial Reign [Rev. 20:11-15]. The latter phrase refers to the coming day when the entirety of the Earth shall be cleansed by fire. It pertains to the coming New heavens and New Earth [II Pet. 3:12-13]. “Neither root nor branch,”means that not one vestige of sin nor rebellion against God will remain anywhere in the universe. Peter likened it to a “New Earth wherein dwells Righteousness.”)

TRUE VALENTINES DAY THROUGH THE WORD OF GOD
KING JAMES EXPOSITOR STUDY BIBLE
1 John 4:8 He who loves not knows not God; for God is love. (“As to His nature, God is love.”)
John 3:16 For God so loved the world (presents the God kind of love), that He gave His Only Begotten Son (gave Him up to the Cross, for that’s what it took to redeem humanity), that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have Everlasting Life.
Colossians 3:14 And above all these things put on charity (Love), which is the bond of perfectness (complete growth).
Galatians 5:22-23 FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT But the Fruit of the Spirit (are not “fruits” but rather “Fruit”; they are to be looked at as a “whole,” which means they grow equally) is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, Faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no Law. (Against such there doesn’t need to be a Law. But let the Reader understand that this “Fruit” is of the “Holy Spirit,” and not of man. It can only develop as we are “led of the Spirit.” And we can only be led by the Spirit by making the Cross the Object of our Faith.)
1 Corinthians CHAPTER 13:1-13 (A.D. 59) LOVE 1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of Angels (actually says in the Greek, “If it were possible to speak with the tongues of men and of Angels”; as well, Paul is not denigrating speaking with Tongues, as some have claimed [I Cor. 14:18]), and have not charity (love), I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal (does not refer to our modern musical instrument which we call by that name, but that which made no more than a clattering sound). 2 And though I have the Gift of Prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all Faith, so that I could remove mountains (tells us that the Gifts of the Spirit can be had by less than perfect people, as should be obvious), and have not charity (love), I am nothing. (We now see the basis on which everything must be built — it is love. If not, we are nothing!) 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned (shifts from Gifts to “Works”), and have not charity (love), it profits me nothing. (As commendable as the acts may be, they bring a grade of zero unless God’s Love motivates them.) CHARACTERISTICS 4 Charity (love) suffers long (refers to patience), and is kind (represents the second side of the Divine attitude toward human kind); charity (the God kind of Love) envies not (does not want that which belongs to others); Love vaunts not itself (is never a braggart), is not puffed up (is not prideful), 5 Does not behave itself unseemly (is forgetful of self and thoughtful of others), seeks not her own (is unselfish), is not easily provoked (is not embittered by abuse, insult, or injury), thinks no evil (takes no account of evil); 6 Rejoices not in iniquity (never gossips about the misdeeds of others), but rejoices in the Truth (proclaims that which the Word of God identifies as Truth); 7 Bears all things (never complains), believes all things (takes the kindest views of all men), hopes all things (keeps believing for the best), endures all things (puts up with everything). ETERNAL 8 Love never fails (because love cannot fail): but whether there be Prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be Tongues, they shall cease; whether there be Knowledge, it shall vanish away. (This refers to the fact that the Gifts of the Spirit will not be needed in the coming Resurrection, as well as many other things we could name.) 9 For we know in part (pertains to the “Word of Knowledge,” which is just part Knowledge), and we Prophesy in part (falls into the same category). 10 But when that which is perfect is come (refers to the Rapture of the Church, i.e., the Resurrection), then that which is in part shall be done away (as should be obvious). 11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. (The Apostle is comparing our present state, “as a child,” to that which is coming, symbolized by a mature adult. That is the difference between the present state and the coming Resurrection.) 12 For now (before the Resurrection) we see through a glass, darkly (can only see the dim outline); but then (after the Resurrection) face to face (we can look and see openly and clearly): now I know in part (have some knowledge); but then shall I know even as also I am known (then everything will be perfect and complete). 13 And now (before the Resurrection) abides Faith, Hope, Love, these three (all three will abide forever); but the greatest of these is Love (it is the greatest because Love alone makes us like God [I Jn. 4:7]).
Song of Solomon 3:5 I charge you, O you daughters of Jerusalem, by the roes, and by the hinds of the field, that you stir not up, nor awake my love, till he please. (Truly, Israel will go through a dark night of Tribulation during the time of “Jacob’s Trouble” [Jer. 30:7]. Now that communion is restored and the heart brought into the joy, confidence, and rest of union with Christ, it is His Will that nothing should interrupt that rest.)

WHAT GOD SAY’S ABOUT THE HEART OF EVERY PERSON.

Message is produced by God and Presented by the Holy Ghost and through His Temple, Zach.

We will first, take a close look through scriptures, of the wicked heart and of a Good heart.
I will remind you before we get started, we are to judge one thing and that is bad fruit. Which would be your foul speeches, foul ways of living, foul activities and actions. this does not include the heart, which is God’s Job of Judging, which would be MOTIVES, speaking of the heart so, don’t ever get the two confused. If there is any wickedness, like wanting to be an alcoholic, druggy, tattoos and such, it then will end up on God’s temple, which is Blasphemous in the eyes of God and anyone who destroys their bodies in any way, God will then have to destroy that temple unless, you turn back to God in Repentance at the Cross, deny yourselves and walking away, not to but, away from doing it again, you will be Saved. Repentance and turning away, is the key point it not, your repentance is bogus and God will not recognize you has being Saved.
Lets get Started.

King James Expositor Study Bible.

THE WICKED HEART.

Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? (God knows the hopeless corruption of the natural heart, and so He said to Nicodemus that no one, however cultured and moral, can either see or enter into the Kingdom of God. There must be a new birth.)

Mark 7:20-23 And He said, That which comes out of the man, that defiles the man (an evil heart produces evil actions). 21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders (the necessity of the creation of a new heart, i.e., “a new man,” is here declared), 22 Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness (this statement by Christ, destroys the belief that the natural heart is good, and makes foolish modern efforts to improve human nature): 23 All these evil things come from within, and defile the man (proclaims the result of the Fall, and the absolute necessity of the new birth).

James 1:22-25 But be ye doers of the Word (the “Word” has the potential to do great and mighty things within our lives), and not hearers only (while hearing the Word is definitely necessary, at the same time it must be heard properly, and that refers to a heart that wants to receive), deceiving your own selves. (It’s bad enough to be deceived by others, but worse yet to purposely deceive ourselves. If we think we can live this life without total Faith in Christ and the Cross, we are doing exactly what James said not to do, “deceiving ourselves.”) 23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass (he sees only that which is external and, therefore, cannot make a proper evaluation): 24 For he beholds himself, and goes his way (which is not God’s Way), and straightway forgets what manner of man he was. (An evaluation of ourselves is necessary. However, it is God Alone Who knows the heart which the Word of God, properly presented, reveals.) 25 But whoso looks into the perfect Law of Liberty (defines the whole body of revealed truth concerning the Word of God), and continues therein (there must be a continuous abiding in the Word), he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. (Obeying the Word of God brings great Blessing. However, the only way it can be obeyed is for the Believer to unequivocally place his Faith in Christ and the Cross.)

Romans 1:21-22 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified Him not as God (if men do not understand God in the realm of Creation, they will not understand Him in anything else), neither were thankful (refusing to honor Him resulted in a lack of gratitude for His Gifts); but became vain in their imaginations (presents the only direction that fallen man can go, considering he has rejected God), and their foolish heart was darkened (speaks of the rejection of Light). 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools (lays waste to all so-called wisdom which is not of God),

James 1:5-8  If any of you lack wisdom (pertains to proper knowledge of the Word of God), let him ask of God, Who gives to all men liberally (the Lord gives to those who ask, providing they ask the right thing; a greater knowledge of the Word of God is always the right thing), and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. (This means when we ask wisdom of Him, He will not reproach or chide us for our past conduct. He permits us to come in the freest manner, and meets us with a spirit of entire kindness, and with promptness in granting our requests.) 6 But let him ask in Faith (some accuse James of denigrating Faith; however, he actually does the very opposite, making Faith a criteria for all things), nothing wavering (nothing doubting). For he who wavers is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. (He who continuously veers from one course to another only reveals his own instability and lack of a sense of being under Divine control.) 7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. (This points to a particular type of individual, one who has a “doubting heart.”) 8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. (One cannot place one’s Faith in the Cross and something else at the same time. Such produces instability, a type of Faith that will never be honored by the Lord.)

Hebrews 3:18-19 And to whom swore He that they should not enter into His rest, but to them who believed not? (They lost everything because of unbelief, and the modern Church is doing the same, which is the very reason that Paul wrote this Epistle.) 19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief (and if the modern Believer registers unbelief toward Christ and the Cross, the results will be the same as it was with Israel of Old).

Revelation 20:11 And I saw a Great White Throne (proclaims the final Judgment of the unredeemed, which will take place at the end of the Kingdom Age), and Him Who sat on it (proclaims none other than God; however, we must understand that it is the Person of the Godhead, the Lord Jesus Christ [Mat. 25:31]; He is the Saviour today; He will be the Judge tomorrow), from Whose face the Earth and the Heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. (This means a New Heaven and New Earth are in the offing.)

Roman 3:10 As it is written (Ps. 14:1-3), There is none righteous, no, not one (addresses the complaint of the Jews and clinches the argument with the Scriptures, which the Jews could not deny):

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned (presents all men placed in the same category), and come short of the Glory of God (the Greek Text infers that even the most Righteous among us continue to come short of the Glory of God on a continuing basis);

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death (speaks of spiritual death, which is separation from God); but the Gift of God is Eternal Life through Jesus Christ our Lord (as stated, all of this, without exception, comes to us by the means of what Christ did at the Cross, which demands that the Cross ever be the Object of our Faith, thus giving the Holy Spirit latitude to work within our lives and bring forth His Fruit).

As we just read through the Word of God, any person who has an evil heart, will face death a second time, in hell. If you, swear and cuss with a lose tougnue and do evil to your body like, trashing it up with tattoos, which I call it, “Graffiti”. Doing drugs and such, murdering and anything else that is not of God, will face life in hell, after they die from this side of the grave which, is the second death and final torment place unless, he or she, turns back to God at the Cross in Repentance and turns away from that life of hell bound sin.
What does God have to say about a good heart? Lets take a close look, through the Word of God.

A GOOD HEART.

Luke 8:15 But that on the good ground (constitutes the fourth group which will bring forth “fruit to perfection,” i.e., “fruit to maturity”) are they, which in an honest and good heart (tells us that the problem is with the heart and not with circumstances), having heard the Word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience (merely hearing the Word is not enough; one must “keep it” as well).

Matthew 15:18-20 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man (not everything that comes out of the mouth of a man is defiling, but only that which proceeds from an evil heart). 19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies (this proclaims the depravity of the unconverted human heart, which was the condition of the Pharisees, despite their religiosity): 20 These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashed hands defile not a man (Satan is a master at placing the emphasis on the insignificant, instead of the real problem).

Matthew 12:35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart brings forth good things (the “good man” of this Verse is the same as the “good tree” of Verse 33; as the “good tree” will bring forth good fruit, likewise, the “good man” will bring forth “good treasure” out of his heart): and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things (an evil heart cannot do otherwise).

Revelation 21:7-8 He who overcomes shall inherit all things (the only way one can overcome is to place one’s Faith exclusively in the Cross of Christ, which gives the Holy Spirit latitude to work in one’s life, bringing about the Fruit of the Spirit); and I will be his God, and he shall be My son. (The overcomer is adopted into the Family of God and God treats him as a son, exactly as He does His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.) 8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars (all of this corresponds with the “works of the flesh,” as outlined in Gal. 5:19-21), shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone: which is the second death (proclaims the Eternal destiny of Christ-rejecters).

Matthew 12:34 O generation of vipers (Jesus called the Pharisees snakes, and did so to their face), how can you, being evil, speak good things? (Due to being evil, they could not produce good fruit.) for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks (men’s words reveal their thoughts and character).

Acts 8:21 You have neither part nor lot in this matter (the word “matter” in the Greek, as it is used here, is “Logos,” and means “a word or speech”; Peter is referring to these Believers speaking with other tongues): for your heart is not right in the Sight of God (self-will is the cause of the evil heart).

THINK

Phillipians 4:8-9 Finally, Brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. (This can be done, providing the Cross is the Object of our Faith, which then gives the Holy Spirit latitude to help us.) 9 Those things, which you have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do (Paul had given them the Gospel of the Cross, and they had seen it work in his life; so they had the correct teaching, and they had the correct example): and the God of Peace shall be with you. (Sanctifying Peace will be ours, if our Faith is properly placed in the Cross and remains in the Cross.)

Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore (applies to any and all who follow Christ, and in all ages), and teach all nations (should have been translated, “and preach to all nations”, for the word “teach” here refers to a proclamation of truth), baptizing them in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit (presents the only formula for Water Baptism given in the Word of God):

Galatians 3:26 For you are all the Children of God by Faith in Christ Jesus. (Every person who is saved, and every person who has ever been or ever will be saved, is saved only by “Faith in Christ Jesus,” which refers to what He did at the Cross.)

CLOSING SCRIPTURES

SIN

1 John 1:8-10 If we say that we have no sin (refers to “the sin nature”), we deceive ourselves (refers to self-deception), and the Truth is not in us. (This does not refer to all Truth as it regards Believers, but rather that the Truth of the indwelling sinful nature is not in us.) 9 If we confess our sins (pertains to acts of sin, whatever they might be; the sinner is to believe [Jn. 3:16]; the Saint is to confess), He (the Lord) is faithful and just to forgive us our sins (God will always be true to His Own Nature and Promises, keeping Faith with Himself and with man), and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (“All,” not some. All sin was remitted, paid for, and put away on the basis of the satisfaction offered for the demands of God’s Holy Law, which sinners broke, when the Lord Jesus died on the Cross.) 10 If we say that we have not sinned (here, John is denouncing the claims of sinless perfection; he is going back to Verse 8, speaking of Christians who claimed they had no sin nature), we make Him a liar (the person who makes such a claim makes God a liar, because the Word says the opposite), and His Word is not in us. (If we properly know the Word, we will properly know that perfection is not in us at present, and will not be until the Trump sounds.)

THINK AND PRAY UPON THESE THINGS.

MAY GOD BE WITH YOUR SOULS.

James 4:1-17

WORLDLINESS

CHAPTER 4 (A.D. 60)  1 From whence come wars and fightings among you? (When Believers look to anything other than the Cross, strife is the result.) come they not hence, even of your lusts that again, the only solution for this problem, which besets every Christian, is that we understand all things come to us from God through the Cross. Making the Cross the Object of our Faith gives the Holy Spirit latitude to work within our lives, in order that we might live the life we ought to live [Rom. 6:3-5, 12-13].) 2 You lust, and have not (such a person is not looking to God, but rather operating from self-will): you kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain (the word “kill” refers to destroying the reputation of another in order to gain advantage, and to do so by slander, etc.): you fight and war, yet you have not, because you ask not. (This refers to Believers who little seek the Lord for anything, but rather depend upon other sources that are irregular to say the least!) 3 You ask, and receive not (and there is a reason), because you ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. (Such a person is not asking in the Will of God, but rather from his or her own selfish desires.) 4 You adulterers and adulteresses (presents James using the same terminology as Paul [Rom. 7:1-4]; the Believer is to look exclusively to Christ and the Cross regarding all his needs; to look elsewhere, or rather for one’s Faith to be placed in that other than the Cross, presents the person as committing spiritual adultery), know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? (If the Cross of Christ is not strictly the Object of our Faith, God looks at everything else as “worldliness.”) whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. (Allow me to once again make the statement that if the Cross of Christ is not our Object of Faith, no matter how religious our efforts may be otherwise, it is still the Lord as “friendship with the world.” This means the Believer in essence becomes an “enemy of God.”) 5 Do you think that the Scripture says in vain (James was quoting several Scriptures [Gen. 15:6; 49:10; Ex. 17:6; Ps. 78:16; Ezek. 47:9; Joel 2:28-29]), The Spirit Who dwells in us lusts to envy? (This refers to the Holy Spirit, which means that the word “Spirit” should have been capitalized. The word “lusteth” here means “to earnestly or passionately desire.” Of what is He envious, and what does He passionately desire? The Holy Spirit is envious of any control the fallen nature might have over the Believer, and is passionately desirous that He control all our thoughts, words, and deeds. He is desirous of having the Believer depend upon Him for His Ministry to Him, so that He might discharge His responsibility to the One Who sent Him, Namely God the Father.) 6 But He gives more Grace. (Providing the Believer ever makes the Cross the Object of His Faith, by which Grace comes from the Lord.) Wherefore He said (Job 22:29; Ps. 138:6; Prov. 3:34), God resists the proud, but gives Grace unto the humble. (God resists those who look to that other than the Cross, and blesses those who themselves by looking strictly to Christ and the Cross, which develops humility.)

PRAYER

7 Submit yourselves therefore to God (to the Plan He has provided, which is the Cross). Resist the Devil, and he will flee from you. (We do this by strictly looking to Christ, and what He has done for us at the Cross, where Satan was totally defeated [Col. 2:14-15].) 8 Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. (Once again and ever so, this is done only by Faith which ever makes the Cross its Object.) Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double minded. (Without a proper knowledge of the Cross regarding the Sanctification of the Saint, it is impossible for the Believer to live a Victorious, Christian life.) 9 Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep (refers to consternation over our having looked to that other than Christ and the Cross): let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. (This refers to true Repentance, which our sin of looking to that other than the Cross, thereby, seeking forgiveness. We must repent not only for the bad, but for the good as well. By that, I’m referring to our dependence on good things for victory in our lives, but yet that which is not the Cross.) 10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He shall lift you up. (As we have constantly stated, it refers to looking to Christ and the Cross, which is the only humbling process in which the Believer can truthfully engage.)

This next text, is speaking of Motives, meaning the heart. The Only thing that Reborn Again Christian's are allowed to Judge, is bad fruit and that's it. As you read this next text from the Word of God, keep that in mind, so you don't take the Word of God, way out of context.

JUDGING

11 Speak not evil one of another, Brethren (refers to self-appointed Judges [Mat. 7:1-5]). He who speaks evil of his Brother, and judges his Brother, speaks evil of the Law, and judges the Law (pertains to the Law of Moses, to which James is pointing; when a Believer judges another, he has taken himself out from under Grace and placed himself under Law, where he will only find condemnation): but if you judge the Law, you are not a doer of the Law, but a Judge. (In other words, such a person has placed himself in the position of God.) 12 There is one Lawgiver, Who is able to save and to destroy (presents God as the only One Who can fill this position): who are you who judges another? (The Greek actually says, “but you — who are you?” In other words, “who do you think you are?”)

THE SELF-WILLED

13 Go to now, you who say, Today or tomorrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain (proclaims the planning of individuals who don’t
include God): 14 Whereas you know not what shall be on the morrow (proclaims the fact that we don’t, while God does!). For what is your life? (Making plans without God proclaims the fact that we consider ourselves to be our own master.) It is even a vapour, that appears for a little time, and then vanishes away. (This means that if the Lord doesn’t guide our lives, then all is a waste.) 15 For that ye ought to say (presents the opposite of the “we will go” in Verse 13), If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that (proclaims our absolute dependence on God). 16 But now you rejoice in your boastings (pertains to rejoicing in one’s self-made plans): all such rejoicing is evil. (All rejoicing should be in the Lord, and only in the Lord.)

SIN

17 Therefore to him who knows to do good, and does it not, to him it is sin. (Sin is an offence against God, which He cannot tolerate. If we do not abide by the Word of God, then we sin.)

Sermon about SATAN AND MUSIC
Produced by God and presented through the Holy Ghost and shared by His Temple Zach.

I want to encourage every soul that is still alive and breathing, to read this from start to finish and wake up, before your dead, physically and spiritually speaking. May God be with your souls.

I am sharing with you all, a message that needs to be read, heard and understood about Satan and the music that you may be listening too, and it is truly  DANGEROUS for your souls. The real bad part of this, meeting house’s, known to many as, Church, for many of you blind soul’s out there, as invited Satan with in the walls and he is now behind many pulpits today. I have been going in the past, not now, I got out when I started to have my eyes opened up to what was going on. In Church services, there should be only one book that should be learned out of and that is the True inspired Word of God, the King James Bible. They started to use other books like, the perverted driven life book series. They were also using false gay bibles, the niv, new international perversion books, which by the the way, is what gay churches uses to okay their sins, because it condones it. Now, I heard they use another false translation also perverts the Word of God, into a lie. I don’t remember what it is, but God knows. Friends, wake up from the hell bound dead about that subject and do your research on your own, I did. I literally took the King James and compared it to the false bibles of Satan and it woke me up. I can tell you until your ears bleed, but that won’t make you believe me. However, many of the Churches that you may be going to, may not be of God. The one Church I was going to, did a lot of changes on there stage. They added special stage lighting's and in services, they turn down the lights, to the point that if you brought in a Bible, you won’t be able to see it, to read and follow along with. Last I heard, they added, instead of stain glassed windows, stand wood and before I left, they were covering up the Cross and calling it old fashion. They also said that they don’t want to “OFFEND NO ONE”, so they cover up the Cross during Worship and don’t even Preach on, Jesus Christ, the Cross and Him Crucified, they would go around the Truth, instead, they would sugar coat the Word of God. Not only that, I was talking to a member of that so called “Church” the other day and I was telling him what I had going on and had opportunity to share the Gospel and he said to me, make sure your doing it lovingly, that proved to me, with using the niv book and the perverted driven life book, they have truly turned out to be  perverted and gay. What does the niv, perverted driven life books, same sex and the Satan bible have all in common? Answer is this, E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G.  they even were playing contemporary music before and after services, which we will get into in a moment. God, is not in that Church, aka, meeting house, or better yet, party house. I am a blood donor, I give blood to the Red Cross, when I get the opportunity. I had to go to this one Church to give Blood and it was in their basement, where they have their youth meetings at. I was looking around and checking the place out. I am laying on this chair, hooked up to needles and blood sucking tubes, giving blood and I just happened to look up and spotted a disco ball, hanging on the ceiling and looked over to the youth stage and seen hanging from the ceiling, concert stage lights. The so called Churches in Zanesville is becoming a real joke. God is not present in these concert, meeting house’s, its all a house of Satan. With new age bibles, new age looks and telling other real Christian’s that they do these things, so they don’t offend no one. Guess what people, number 1, God is Offend, Jesus Christ, “God” is offend, 2 I am offended. God never changes, He is the Same, from the be-gaining, He the Same today, He will be the Same tomorrow, He will still be the Same to the end of our time, on this earth. God is not in those meeting house’s. These Churches are of the world, meaning of Satan. You so called Preacher’s, teacher’s, should be ashamed of yourselves, to turning God into a party spirit. God is not of this world. There are Churches that has turned their youth group meetings and they are now calling it, get this, happy hour. Churches is not to be associated with bars, or anything of the world. There is no such thing as a worldly Church, there is no such thing as a worldly Christian. If your a drug addict, if your a alcoholic drinker, if your a Christian who uses fowl languages and have a lose tongue, then stop it now. You will not go to Heaven when you die. God’s Word is clear as day, who is and isn't going to Heaven or hell. You are either with God, let me refraze that, you need to be 100 percent with and for God, or your with Satan. The The photo that is connected with this sermon, is not of God but, of Satan. You can’t be a Christian and be worldly at the same time. You are either with and for God, meaning that you are living the Christian lifestyle, which you are created to do, or your of Satan. Wake up so called Christian’s. That brings me back to what we are going to talk about and see what the Word of God has to say about music. We are going to start with, talking about Satan and how he now, uses and corrupts music, including, not just worldly music, but so called Christian contemporary, rock, and rap music, which is just a bunch of headache noise. You will find out through this study, that it truly, is not of God but, of Satan, a false god that many is, not just serving but, worshiping. Lets get Started in Scripture about Satan. What we are talking about, with worldly music and slapping Jesus Christ (God) in to it, is Spiritual Adultery and is leading millions and millions to hell and unfortunately, Christian’s to hell, as well. Christian Contemporary, rock, rap, is secular music. There is no such thing as such, being Christian and it does not Worship and serve our Almighty God, period.  As we go through Scripture, there will be corresponding scriptures, that will be shown, please take the time to go through them with your King James or better yet, grab a King James Expositor Study Bible today at

King James Expositor Study Bible

SPIRITUAL ADULTERY

James 4:4 tells us this; You adulterers and adulteresses (presents James using the same terminology as Paul [Rom. (Allow me to once again make the statement that if the Cross of Christ is not our Object of Faith, no matter how religious our efforts may be otherwise, it is still looked at by the Lord as “friendship with the world.” This means the Believer in essence becomes an “enemy of God.”)

WORLDLY MUSIC, SATAN.

1 John 1:8 He who commits sin (practices sin) is of the Devil (whoever is truly born of God does not live a life of habitual sinning); for the Devil sinneth from the beginning (from the beginning of his rebellion against God). For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the Devil. (This proclaims what was done at the Cross [Col. 2:14-15].)

1 Peter 5:8 Be sober (mentally self-controlled), be vigilant (awake and watchful); because your adversary the Devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour (we are faced with a very powerful adversary):

John 8:44 You are of your father the Devil, and the lusts of your father you will do (presents the Lord repudiating in terrible language the spiritual claims made by these Jews respecting their association with Jehovah; this is the cause of all the problems in the world). He was a murderer from the beginning (refers to the fact that Satan originated sin, and sin brings forth death), and abode not in the truth (it means he was actually in truth, for a time, until he rebelled against God), because there is no truth in him (no truth in him since his rebellion). When he speaks a lie, he speaks of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it (Satan is the originator of the “lie”; consequently, his entire kingdom of darkness, in totality, is built on the “lie”).

2 Corinthians 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty (the strategy of Satan), so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. (The Gospel of Christ is simple, but men complicate it by adding to the Message.)

Revelation 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan (he is referred to as “the Great Dragon” because of his propensity to “steal, kill, and destroy” [Jn. 10:10]; he is the “old serpent” because in his first appearance in the Bible, he chose to work through a serpent; thereby, he is what the curse caused the serpent to be, wryly subtle, and treacherous), which deceives the whole world (deception is his greatest weapon; he deceives, and is himself deceived): he was cast out into the earth, and his Angels were cast out with him (pronounces the beginning of the end for this evil monster).

2 Corinthians 4:4 In whom the god of this world (Satan) has blinded the minds of them which believe not (a willful blindness), lest the light of the Glorious Gospel of Christ (the Message of the Cross), Who is the Image of God (Who Alone is the Image of God), should shine unto them. (If men reject the Cross, they have, in effect, rejected Christ.)

John 14:30 Hereafter I will not talk much with you (could be translated, “Hereafter I will not have much more time to talk with you”): for the Prince of this world comes (speaks of Satan), and has nothing in Me (Satan had no hold over Jesus, no claim on Jesus, no sin in Jesus, nothing of evil about Jesus; He was totally Holy, completely, absolutely, and irrevocably above sin and Satan).

Hebrews 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood (refers to the fact that this Creation has a human, not Angelic, nature), He (Jesus) also Himself likewise took part of the same (the Incarnation, God becoming man); that through death (the Cross) He (Jesus) might destroy him (Satan) who had the power of death, that is, the Devil (the wages of sin is death, which speaks of separation from God; Jesus atoned for all sin at the Cross, thereby removing the cause of spiritual death, at least for all who will believe [Jn. 3:16]);

Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood (our foes are not human; however, Satan constantly uses human beings to carry out his dirty work), but against principalities (rulers or beings of the highest rank and order in Satan’s kingdom), against powers (the rank immediately below the “Principalities”), against the rulers of the darkness of this world (those who carry out the instructions of the “Powers”), against spiritual wickedness in high places. (This refers to demon spirits.)

2 Corinthians 11:14 And no marvel (true Believers should not be surprised); for Satan himself is transformed into an Angel of light. (This means he pretends to be that which he is not.)

John 12:31 Now is the Judgment of this world (pertains to that which Jesus would do at Calvary; He would suffer the Wrath of God instead of the world): now shall the prince of this world be cast out (Jesus would defeat Satan by atoning for all sin; sin is the legal means by which Satan keeps men in captivity; that means being removed, which it was by Christ, leaves the Evil One with no legal right, unless men freely give him that right; acceptance of Christ and the Cross defeats Satan and breaks his bondage).

John 10:10 The thief comes not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy (speaks of Satan and his emissaries who peddle a false way of Salvation): I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly (the Source of this “Life” is Christ; all true Believers have such; however, all true Believers enjoy such only by constant Faith in Christ and the Cross).

Matthew 16:23 But He turned, and said unto Peter (respects strong action; would be the sternest of rebukes), Get thee behind Me, Satan (Jesus used nearly the same words in rebuking Peter, and the other Disciples that He had used to the Devil, and His temptation [4:10]; all denial of the Cross in any form, is of Satan): you are an offence unto Me (speaks directly to Peter, because he is now being used by Satan): for you savor not the things that be of God, but those that be of men (if it’s not the Cross, then it’s of men, which means it is of Satan).

Revelation 20:2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan (as a “dragon,” he shows his power; as a “serpent,” he shows his cunning; as the “Devil,” he is the accuser; and as “Satan,” he is the adversary), and bound him a thousand years (refers to being bound by the great chain carried by the Angel),

Revelation 9:11 And they had a king over them, which is the Angel of the bottomless pit (gives us further insight into the spirit world of darkness), whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue has his name Apollyon. (This is a powerful fallen Angel, who evidently threw in his lot with Lucifer in the great rebellion against God. Only four Angels are named in Scripture, “Gabriel, Michael, Lucifer, and Apollyon,” the first two being Righteous.)

Romans 16:20 And the God of Peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly (all who trust Christ and what He has done at the Cross are guaranteed victory, and in every capacity). The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen (presents the standard Benediction of Paul, which he uses in one form or the other in all of his Epistles, even Hebrews).

Now, we have a glips about what Satan is like and whom many of you serve either, in your meeting house’e, (Churches), and by and through music. Speaking of Satan and Music, lets dive right into the Word of God on this subject.

MUSIC
Who was in charge of music in Heaven?

Lucifer is a fallen angel who was the head of the ministry of music in Heaven when he was in heaven. It has been said of him he was the most beautiful of ALL angels and he was the director of the flow of music there (Praise and Worship). Of course, now he no longer is….. but there are several scriptural references throughout the bible the denote his previous authority over music when he was in heaven. Now Lucifer is corrupting music, peoples minds and souls. You spiritual Blinded people, its time to get right with God, so you can see, what is Truly going on, your eternal life is at stake. Satan is in control of all rock, rap, contemporary music, of all kinds and he is brain washing everyone who is ignorant to this truth.

Ecclesiastes 7:5 It is better to hear the rebuke of the wise, than for a man to hear the song of fools. (Man, and religious man above all, does not like to be rebuked, so he seeks out the “song of fools,” which speaks of false doctrine.)

Ephesians 5:19 Speaking to yourselves in Psalms and Hymns and Spiritual Songs (refers to worship as it regards songs and singing), singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord (places the approval of the Holy Spirit on the same forms of music and styles of worship as were begun in the Old Testament);

2 Corinthians 6:17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord (as stated, the Word of God emphatically teaches separation from the world, but not isolation), and touch not the unclean thing (refers to Christians avoiding all unholy contact with a vain and polluted world); and I will receive you (at the same time, means if the person disobeys these injunctions the Lord will not receive us; the Christian can walk clean in this world only by constantly evidencing Faith in the Cross of Christ, which makes it possible for the Holy Spirit to do His Work within our lives),

James 4:4 You adulterers and adulteresses (presents James using the same terminology as Paul [Rom. (Allow me to once again make the statement that if the Cross of Christ is not our Object of Faith, no matter how religious our efforts may be otherwise, it is still looked at by the Lord as “friendship with the world.” This means the Believer in essence becomes an “enemy of God.”)

Colossians 3:16 Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom (the meaning of the New Covenant as given to Paul, which is the meaning of the Cross); teaching and admonishing one an other in Psalms and Hymns and Spiritual Songs (our songs of worship must proclaim the Word of God, thereby teaching us), singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. (This presents the real purpose of Spirit-Anointed Music, which tells how important music and singing are as it refers to worship.)

Romans 12:1-2 1 I beseech you therefore, Brethren (I beg of you please), by the Mercies of God (all is given to the Believer, not because of merit on the Believer’s part, but strictly because of the “Mercy of God”), that you present your bodies a Living Sacrifice (the word “Sacrifice” speaks of the Sacrifice of Christ, and means that we cannot do this which the Holy Spirit demands unless our Faith is placed strictly in Christ and the Cross, which then gives the Holy Spirit latitude to carry out this great work within our lives), holy (that which the Holy Spirit Alone can do), acceptable unto God (actually means that a holy physical body, i.e., “temple,” is all that He will accept), which is your reasonable service. (Reasonable if we look to Christ and the Cross; otherwise impossible!) 2 And be not conformed to this world (the ways of the world): but be you transformed by the renewing of your mind (we must start thinking Spiritually, which refers to the fact that everything is furnished to us through the Cross, and is obtained by Faith and not works), that you may prove what is that good (is put to the test and finds that the thing tested meets the specifications laid down), and acceptable, and Perfect, Will of God (presents that which the Holy Spirit is attempting to bring about within our lives, and can only be obtained by ever making the Cross the Object of our Faith).

James 5:13 Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. (Prayer is the recommendation of the Holy Spirit concerning affliction. But how many Christians take advantage of this privilege?) Is any merry? let him sing Psalms. (In effect, refers to singing as a form of prayer, which it actually is, that is if we sing songs that rightly glorify the Lord.)

Proverbs 17:4 A wicked doer gives heed to false lips; and a liar gives ear to a naughty tongue. (God calls those who enjoy hearing gossip “liars.” Likewise, the “liar” loves to hear and pass on the gossip of other “liars.”)

1 Thessalonians 5:19-23 19 Quench not the Spirit. (To disobey these admonitions is to quench the Spirit.) 20 Despise not Prophesyings. (This Gift has been abused more so than any other Gift. Irrespective, we are to ever recognize the value of the true Operation of this Gift [I Cor. 14:3].) 21 Prove all things (when Prophecies are given, or anything that claims to be of the Lord, it should be put to the test; the test is, “is it Scriptural?”); hold fast that which is good. (This refers to the sifting process of accepting that which is definitely of the Lord, and rejecting that which isn’t!) 22 Abstain from all appearance of evil. (The question is, “Does this please God”?) 23 And the very God of Peace sanctify you wholly (this is “progressive Sanctification,” which can only be brought about by the Holy Spirit, Who does such as our Faith is firmly anchored in the Cross, within which parameters the Spirit always works; the Sanctification process involves the whole man); and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body (proclaims the make-up of the whole man) be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. (This refers to the Rapture. As well, this one Verse proclaims the fact that any involvement, whether righteous or unrighteous, affects the whole man, and not just the physical body or the soul as some claim.)

Revelation 18:4 4 And I heard another voice from Heaven (presents that which is different from the Angel of the first Verse), saying, Come out of her, My people, that you be not partakers of her sins (the short phrase, “My people,” refers to all Believers all over the world for all time, but the primary thrust is to Israel; in fact, the entire Book of Revelation, even though broadly addressing itself to the entirety of mankind, is primarily for Israel; this is the time of Jacob’s trouble [Jer. 30:7]), and is designed to bring Israel back to God), and that you receive not of her plagues. (If Believers fail to come out from among the world, i.e., “the world’s system,” we will experience Judgment the same as unbelievers.)

John 17:14 I have given them Your Word (speaks of a permanent endowment; we must live by the Word); and the world has hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world (the spirit of the world is ruled by Satan, the Prince of Darkness, so it is greatly antagonistic toward the Lord).

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ (Saved by the Blood), he is a new creature (a new creation): old things are passed away (what we were before Salvation); behold, all things are become new. (The old is no longer useable, with everything given to us now by Christ as “new.”)

1 Corinthians 5:13 But them who are without (unsaved) God judges (so let’s leave the unredeemed to Him). Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person (If the Believer will not repent of obvious wrongdoing, and we speak of scandalous sins, then that person must be disfellowshiped).

In this next verse, you should easily see that, God’s Word only applies to the unbeliever’s, unless the Reborn Again Christian, takes him or her own self, out of the Righteous hand of God, which is done by the “Reborn Again Christian” returning back to the sinful life styles of the world, which rejects Jesus Christ, the Cross and Him Crucified. We are saved and some may lose some rewards, because of smoking, will just lose rewards, but they still will be Saved, but for all alcoholics, will go to hell when they die. God’s Word is clear about that.

Galatians 5:19 - 21 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these (if one attempts to function by means of Law of any nature, the “works of the flesh” will be manifested in one’s life); Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like (if one is walking after the flesh [Rom. 8:1], one or more of these sins will manifest themselves in one’s life; the only way, and I mean the only way, one can walk in perpetual Victory is to understand that everything we receive from God comes to us by means of the Cross; consequently, the Cross must ever be the Object of our Faith; this being the case, the Holy Spirit, Who works exclusively within the confines of the Sacrifice of Christ, will exert His mighty Power on our behalf, which will enable us to live a Holy life): of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past (refers to the fact that the Apostle was not afraid to name specific sins), that they which do such things shall not inherit the Kingdom of God. (This tells us in no uncertain terms that if our Faith is not everlastingly in Christ and the Cross, we simply won’t make it. God doesn’t have two ways of Salvation and Victory, only one, and that is “Jesus Christ and Him Crucified.”)

Back to our topic, Music.

I Corinthians 3:13-23 13 Every man’s work shall be made manifest (at the Judgment Seat of Christ): for the day shall declare it (the time of the Judgment Seat of Christ), because it shall be revealed by fire (the fire of God’s Word); and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is. (“Fire” in the Greek is “puri,” and speaks of the ability of Christ, Who will be the Judge and Who sees through everything we do [Rev. 2:18]. He Alone knows our very motives!) 14 If any man’s work abide which he has built thereupon (assuming it to be true), he shall receive a reward (pertains to that which will be eternal, although we aren’t told what it will be). 15 If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss (refers to the loss of reward, but not Salvation): but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. (Actually, this means the person is saved “despite the fire.” While the fire of the Word of God will definitely burn up improper works, it will not touch our Salvation, that being in Christ and the Cross.) in God’s Prescribed Order [the Cross], opens the Believer up to Satan, which will ultimately result in destruction); for the Temple of God is Holy, which Temple you are. (We are “Holy” by virtue of being “in Christ.” We remain Holy by the Work of the Holy Spirit, Who demands that our Faith ever be in the Cross, which has made all of this possible.)

THE TEMPLE

16 Know you not that you are the Temple of God (where the Holy Spirit abides), and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? (That makes the Born-Again Believer His permanent Home.) 17 If any man defile the Temple of God (our physical bodies must be a living Sacrifice, which means that we stay Holy by ever making the Cross the Object of our Faith [Rom. 12:1]), him shall God destroy (to fail to function in God’s Prescribed Order [the Cross], opens the Believer up to Satan, which will ultimately result in destruction); for the Temple of God is Holy, which Temple you are. (We are “Holy” by virtue of being “in Christ.” We remain Holy by the Work of the Holy Spirit, Who demands that our Faith ever be in the Cross, which has made all of this possible.)
18 Let no man deceive himself (proclaims that which is possible, or the admonition would not have been given). If any man among you seems to be wise in this world (is not meant to denigrate education, but rather to portray the Truth that neither God nor His Ways can be found through the wisdom of this world, i.e., higher education, etc.), let him become a fool (let the person accept the Lord as his Saviour, and then go to the Word of God to learn about the Lord, which the world thinks is foolish), that he may be wise (concerns itself with True wisdom). 19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God (because it’s all wrong). For it is written (Job 5:13), He takes the wise in their own craftiness. (God will see to it that such people are caught in the traps they set for other people.) 20 And again (Ps. 94:11), The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise (the worldly wise), that they are vain (empty nothings). 21 Therefore let no man glory in men (but rather the Lord). For all things are yours (everything given by God is available to every single Believer, providing it is the Will of God; God does not play favorites); 22 Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come (the Lord Rules all things); all are yours (nothing can happen to us, but that the Lord directs the action); 23 And you are Christ’s (we are bought with a price, the Cross); and Christ is God’s (refers to what Christ has done to Redeem humanity by means of the Cross, which was the Plan of God [I Pet. 1:18-20]).

Galatians 5:16 This I say then, Walk (order your behavior) in the Spirit (we do so by placing our Faith exclusively in Christ and the Cross, through which the Spirit works exclusively [Rom. 8:1-2]), and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. (This proves the existence of the sin nature in the Believer. It declares the consciousness of corrupt desires. As stated, the only way to not fulfill the lust of the flesh is for our Faith to be placed exclusively in the Cross.)

As you have just seen for yourselves, that Satan is a true spirit that pollutes The world Churches, people and music and many of you are deceived by the devices and by Satan’s people. It’s time to wake up from the hell bound soul’s, my family and friends. Satan as a foot hold on the worlds system, don’t allow it get a foot hold on you, it could send your souls to hell.

When it comes to the Word of God, there is no sugar coating or even no seeker sensitive Preaching here. The world needs to know the Truth. May God be with you and Bless You.

WAKE UP PEOPLE.

THOSE WHO ARE NOT SAVED, LIKE THOSE WHO SAY THEY ARE SAVED BUT LIVES A LIFE OF SIN, IS CALLED, SELF RIGHTEOUSNESS, MEANS HYPOCRITE. READ THE GOSPEL, THE WORD OF GOD, THAT HAS TO DO WITH THE TITLE OF THIS MESSAGE,

SAME SEX MARRIAGES ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

LEVITCUS 18:22 You shall not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination (proclaims the terrible sin of the abomination of homosexuality; whatever man says, God says it is an abomination; God help America to see the awfulness of homosexual marriages).

1 CORINTHIANS 6:9-10 But brother goes to Law with brother, and that before the unbelievers (a bad example!). 7 Now therefore there is utterly a fault among you, because you go to Law one with another (should not be among Christians). Why do you not rather take wrong? (This portrays the perfect example of uncrucified self.) why do ye not rather suffer yourselves to be defrauded? (It is better to suffer material loss, than to suffer spiritual loss.) 8 No, you do wrong, and defraud, and that your Brethren (to defraud anyone is bad enough, but to defraud a fellow Brother in the Lord is worse still!). PURITY 9 Do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the Kingdom of God? (This shoots down the unscriptural Doctrine of Unconditional Eternal Security.) Be not deceived (presents the same words of our Lord, “let no man deceive you” [Mk. 13:5]): neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind (the proof of true Christianity is the changed life), 10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the Kingdom of God (refers to those who call themselves “Believers,” but yet continue to practice the sins mentioned, whom the Holy Spirit says are not saved, irrespective of their claims).

 DEATH FOR HOMOSEXUALITY

LEVITICUS 20:13 13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them (the Lord speaks here of homosexuality as “an abomination”; the word “Abomination,” in the Hebrew, is “towebah,” and means “something disgusting, an abhorrence”).

RESULTS OF APOSTASY

ROMANS 1:24-27 24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts (not merely permissive, but God judicially delivered them over), to dishonour their own bodies between themselves (speaks of every type of immorality): 25 Who changed the Truth of God into a lie (refers back to Verse 23, which speaks of spiritual and sexual uncleanness), and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator (this refers to man worshiping the creation of his own hands, which means that he is worshiping something less than himself), Who is blessed forever. Amen (should have been translated “Bless-ed” [two syllables], because it refers to the One doing the blessing, in this case the Lord). 26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections (the Lord removed His restraints and, therefore, gave them unimpeded access to their desires): for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature (in short speaks of Lesbianism): 27 And likewise also the men (homosexuality), leaving the natural use of the woman (speaks of the sex act which is performed between the man and his wife), burned in their lust one toward another (raging lust); men with men working that which is unseemly (specifies its direction, which is total perversion), and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet (refers to the penalty attached to wrongdoing).

MARK 10:6-9 But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female (not from the beginning of Creation per se, but rather, from the beginning of the creation of humankind). 7 For this cause (has to do with the way man and woman were created and, therefore, meant to live) shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife (completely debunks the homosexual lifestyle); 8 And they twain (two) shall be one flesh (one of the reasons that adultery and fornication are so wicked): so then they are no more twain, but one flesh (the Will of God carried out to its logical and beautiful conclusion). 9 What therefore God has joined together (places the seal of God’s approval on the marriage union; and we speak of the nuclear family of husband, wife, and children), let not man put asunder (there are only two Scriptural grounds for divorce and remarriage: A. Fornication [Mat. 5:32]; and, B. Desertion on spiritual grounds [I Cor. 7:14-15]).

GENESIS 2:24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife (this Passage must be viewed as an inspired declaration of the law of marriage): and they shall be one flesh (points to a unity of persons, not simply to a conjunction of bodies, or a community of interests, or even a reciprocity of affections).

THE MODEL PRAYER

MATTHEW 6:9-13 9 After this manner therefore pray you (is meant to be in total contrast to the heathen practice; as well, it is to be prayed in full confidence, that the Heavenly Father will hear and answer according to His Will): Our Father (our prayer should be directed toward our Heavenly Father, and not Christ or the Holy Spirit) Who is in Heaven, Hallowed be Your Name (we reverence His Name). 10 Your Kingdom come (this will definitely happen at the Second Coming), Your Will be done in Earth, as it is in Heaven (the Will of God is all-important; it will be carried out on Earth, beginning with the Kingdom Age). 11 Give us this day our daily bread (we are to look to the Lord for sustenance, both natural and spiritual). 12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors (the word “debts” here refers to “trespasses” and “sins”; His forgiveness on our part is predicated on our forgiving others). 13 And lead (because of self-confidence) us not into temptation (help us not to be led into testing — the idea is, in my self-confidence, which stems from the flesh and not the Spirit, please do not allow me to be led into temptation, for I will surely fail!), but deliver us (the trap is more powerful than man can handle; only God can deliver; He does so through the Power of the Holy Spirit, according to our Faith in Christ and the Cross [Rom. 8:1-2, 11]) from evil (the Evil One, Satan himself): For Yours is the kingdom (this Earth belongs to the Lord and not Satan; he is an usurper), and the power (God has the Power to deliver, which He does, as stated, through the Cross), and the glory (the Glory belongs to God, and not Satan), forever (none of this will ever change). Amen (this Word expresses a solemn ratification; in the Mind of God, the defeat and destruction of Satan and, therefore, all evil in the world, is a foregone conclusion).

ISAIAH 40:31 But they who wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. (The word “wait,” in the Hebrew, is “qavah,” and means “to bind together by twisting.” The sense is that if we really “wait upon the LORD,” we will be constantly seeking His Face and, being bound together with Him, we will be desirous of carrying out His Will. The Holy Spirit uses “eagles” as an example. “Eagles” do not stay perpetually young, but do in fact periodically take on a luster on their wings that gives them a perpetual youthful appearance. Such is intended here! God promises to give strength for the journey in order that we may “run” and “not be weary.”)

JONATHAN AND DAVID

1 SAMUAL 18:1-30 1 And it came to pass, when he had made an end of speaking unto Saul, that the soul of Jonathan (the son of Saul) was knit with the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul (Jonathan was to David as an older brother). 2 And Saul took him that day, and would let him go no more home to his father’s house (brought David into the court). 3 Then Jonathan and David made a covenant, because he loved him as his own soul. 4 And Jonathan stripped himself of the robe that was upon him, and gave it to David, and his garments, even to his sword, and to his bow, and to his girdle. (The covenant basically meant that whatever belonged to Jonathan now belonged to David. [In effect, he was giving David the kingdom, because he knew that God had called him for such.] Whatever belonged to David now belonged to Jonathan, as well! They would go so far as to lay down their lives for each other, if necessary. It would also extend to their children; hence, this is the reason that David would bring Mephibosheth into the palace and give him place and position [II Sam., Chpt. 9]. The covenant that is spoken of is basically a Type of the New Covenant made by Christ on the Cross. We enter into that Covenant by the virtue of Faith in Christ and what He has done for us [Jn. 3:16].)

SAUL BECOMES JEALOUS OF DAVID

5 And David went out whithersoever Saul sent him, and behaved himself wisely (the Holy Spirit will bear this out concerning David several times; he did this by the help of the Spirit): and Saul set him over the men of war (a special group), and he was accepted in the sight of all the people, and also in the sight of Saul’s servants. 6 And it came to pass as they came, when David was returned from the slaughter of the Philistine, that the women came out of all cities of Israel, singing and dancing, to meet king Saul, with tabrets, with joy, and with instruments of music (because of their victories). 7 And the women answered one another as they played, and said, Saul has slain his thousands, and David his ten thousands. 8 And Saul was very angry, and the saying displeased him; and he said, They have ascribed unto David ten thousands, and to me they have ascribed but thousands: and what can he have more but the kingdom? (When Saul had stood powerless before the enemy, a shepherd boy had stepped forth and given him the victory. This stripling, taken to be his companion in arms, had shown so many great qualities that the people reckoned him at ten times Saul’s worth. Due to a total lack of spirituality, Saul could not handle this.) 9 And Saul eyed David from that day and forward (with intent to harm him). 10 And it came to pass on the morrow, that the evil spirit from God came upon Saul, and he prophesied in the midst of the house (however, he wasn’t prophesying by the Spirit of God, but rather by the power of demon spirits): and David played with his hand, as at other times (played the harp): and there was a javelin in Saul’s hand. 11 And Saul cast the javelin; for he said, I will smite David even to the wall with it. And David avoided out of his presence twice (instead of allowing David to draw him to the Lord, he took the opposite road, and tried to kill David). 12 And Saul was afraid of David, because the LORD was with him, and was departed from Saul (in effect, he sees the handwriting on the wall!). 13 Therefore Saul removed him from him, and made him his Captain over a thousand; and he went out and came in before the people. (Evidently the administrative affairs of the kingdom had been neglected, with David now functioning somewhat in this capacity. In a sense, Saul promoted David, giving him the charge of a thousand men; but David was no longer in the presence of Saul. Evidently, Saul didn’t know what to do with him, because he was so popular with the people.) 14 And David behaved himself wisely in all his ways; and the LORD was with him (that was the reason for the blessings). 15 Wherefore when Saul saw that he behaved himself very wisely, he was afraid of him. 16 But all Israel and Judah loved David, because he went out and came in before them (he was totally trustworthy, and, as stated, “behaved himself wisely”!).

DAVID MARRIES SAUL’S DAUGHTER

17 And Saul said to David, Behold my elder daughter Merab, her will I give you to wife: only be you valiant for me, and fight the LORD’s battles. For Saul said, Let not my hand be upon him, but let the hand of the Philistines be upon him (constantly sending David out to battle, Saul believed that he would ultimately be killed, which he desired). 18 And David said unto Saul, Who am I? and what is my life, or my father’s family in Israel, that I should be son in law to the king? 19 But it came to pass at the time when Merab Saul’s daughter should have been given to
David, that she was given unto Adriel the Meholathite to wife. (The king’s promise to give his daughter to the victor was not kept; but, on the contrary, a snare was set for David’s foot. Merab was indeed proposed, but upon the added condition that David should venture his life and slay more of the Philistines, and thereby, as Saul hoped, lose his life. But this plan having failed, the king laid another snare for him. He grossly insulted him by giving the bride, a day or two before the marriage, to another man. By this, no doubt, he hoped to sting David into some disloyal language or conduct that would justify his being put to death. But this also failed.) 20 And Michal Saul’s daughter loved David: and they told Saul, and the thing pleased him. 21 And Saul said, I will give him her, that she may be a snare to him, and that the hand of the Philistines may be against him. Wherefore Saul said to David, You shall this day be my son in law in the one of the twain (David will marry the other daughter). 22 And Saul commanded his servants, saying, Commune with David secretly, and say, Behold, the king has delight in you, and all his servants love you: now therefore be the king’s son in law. 23 And Saul’s servants spoke those words in the ears of David. And David said, Seem it to you a light thing to be a king’s son in law, seeing that I am a poor man, and lightly esteemed? 24 And the servants of Saul told him, saying, On this manner spoke David (they told Saul what David said, which means that David said nothing as it regards what Saul had done to him, by giving his first daughter to another man, instead of to David, as promised). 25 And Saul said, Thus shall you say to David, The king desires not any dowry, but an hundred foreskins of the Philistines, to be avenged of the kings’ enemies. But Saul thought to make David fall by the hand of the Philistines (this was the snare which he planned). 26 And when his servants told David these words, it pleased David well to be the king’s son in law: and the days were not expired (David was given a certain period of time for this to be done). 27 Wherefore David arose and went, he and his men, and killed of the Philistines two hundred men; and David brought their foreskins, and they gave them in full tale to the king, that he might be the king’s son in law. And Saul gave him Michal his daughter to wife. (All of this was so known among so many people that Saul couldn’t go back on this. Some may blanch at David killing so many Philistines; however, they were God’s enemies and, in slaying them, David acted as God’s Servant, and not as Saul’s instrument.) 28 And Saul saw and knew that the LORD was with David, and that Michal Saul’s daughter loved him. 29 And Saul was yet the more afraid of David; and Saul became David’s enemy continually. 30 Then the princes of the Philistines went forth: and it came to pass, after they went forth, that David behaved himself more wisely than all the servants of Saul; so that his name was much set by (we learn from all of this that what God has blessed, nothing can curse!).

Side note about this next verse, its speaking of Judging the heart, which would be (Mostives), we are to Judge Bad fruit only. Remeber this when you see the Word JUDGING, in the Word of God. This world takes it way out of context and makes it into something that it is not, that would be Blasphemy and it is also spiritual adultary, to taking God’s Word, out of context like that. Becareful and watch yourselves about that, just a spiritual WARNING for your soul.

JAMES 4:12 There is one Lawgiver, Who is able to save and to destroy (presents God as the only One Who can fill this position): who are you who judges another? (The Greek actually says, “but you — who are you?” In other words, “who do you think you are?”)

1 CORINTHIANS 6:9 Do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the Kingdom of God? (This shoots down the unscriptural Doctrine of Unconditional Eternal Security.) Be not deceived (presents the same words of our Lord, “let no man deceive you” [Mk. 13:5]): neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind (the proof of true Christianity is the changed life).

ROMANS 1:26-27 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections (the Lord removed His restraints and, therefore, gave them unimpeded access to their desires): for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature (in short speaks of Lesbianism): 27 And likewise also the men (homosexuality), leaving the natural use of the woman (speaks of the sex act which is performed between the man and his wife), burned in their lust one toward another (raging lust); men with men working that which is unseemly (specifies its direction, which is total perversion), and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet (refers to the penalty attached to wrongdoing).

MATTHEW 19:4-6 And He answered and said unto them, Have you not read, that He (God) which made them at the beginning made them male and female (destroys the theory of evolution; Jesus was actually the Creator [Jn. 1:1-3]), 5 And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? (Proclaims God as the founder of marriage, which makes it a Divine institution.) 6 Wherefore they are no more twain (two), but one flesh (God looks at a man and his wife not as two, but instead “one”). What therefore God has joined together, let not man put asunder (the Will of the Lord is to be sought regarding marriage; however, God recognizes the institution of marriage whether His Will or not).

MALACHI 2:15 And did not He make one? Yet had He the residue of the Spirit. And wherefore one? that He might seek a godly seed. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his youth. (The question, “And did not He make one?”, means that God made only one wife for Adam. This condemns polygamy [being married to several wives at the same time] and divorce! The phrase, “Yet had He the residue of the Spirit,” means that God, being the Author of life, could have given Adam, if He so desired, many wives and so have instituted polygamy. Therefore, what God originally did and intended must not be changed. The question, “And wherefore one?”, has reference to Abraham, to whom God gave one wife and a godly seed by her [Isaac]. Malachi’s critics objected that Abraham had two wives, referring to Sarah and Hagar, and that they might also, to which Malachi had a double reply: 1. Abraham took a second wife, not to gratify passion, but to procure an heir; and, 2. That in so acting, he grieved God and brought suffering upon himself and others. God’s appointment of monogamy is here stated in order to produce holy children [I Chron. 7:14]. “Therefore take heed to your spirit,” has to do with the corruption of one’s own spirit, which leads to all types of sin, i.e., making one dead to the conviction of the Holy Spirit. “And let none deal treacherously against the wife of his youth,” has some inference to the beauty fading with the passing years, with the youth of the foreign women becoming more attractive, and even possibly more accessible. At any rate, it was a wicked direction these men were taking.)

GENESIS 19:1-13 1 And there came two Angels (referred to previously as two men) to Sodom at evening; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom (Lot sitting at the gate probably denoted position and authority; he may have even been the mayor of Sodom): and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground (from this action, it is possible that the two Angels revealed themselves and their mission to Lot at this time); 2 And he said, Behold now, my lords, turn in, I pray you, into your servant’s house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and you shall rise up early, and go on your ways (as it regards Abraham and Lot, the Lord remained to commune with the Patriarch, while he merely sent His two Angels to Sodom as it regards Lot). And they said, No; but we will abide in the street all night (in fact, the Angels, as we see here, didn’t even desire to enter into the house of Lot; what a rebuke!). 3 And he (Lot) pressed upon them greatly; and they turned in unto him, and entered into his house (the Angels, on their part, had to be pressed to accept hospitality from the nephew which they at once accepted from the uncle; fellowship with the world hinders and limits communion and makes the soul lethargic); and he made them a feast, and did bake unleavened bread, and they did eat (the “unleavened Bread” speaks of Christ).

THE MOB

4 But before they lay down (retired for the night), the men of the city, even the men of Sodom (homosexuals), compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter: (The principle of evil, which the Bible calls “sin,” and which has wrought such ruin in human nature, painfully appears in this Chapter. Sodomy is the end result of the reprobate mind [Rom. 1:24-28].) 5 And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men who came in to you this night? (the sin of homosexuality was the primary sin which occasioned the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah [Jude, Vss. 6-7]) bring them out unto us, that we may know them (the words “know them” pertained to the loathsomeness of the homosexual act). 6 And Lot went out at the door unto them, and shut the door after him (locked the door to his house, so these depraved men could not enter), 7 And said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly (the Text marks this sin as unspeakably vile, by telling us that they commanded Lot to bring out his guests so that they could seduce them publicly and in the sight of the whole population; they had lost all sense of shame and decency, for they make no attempt at perpetrating this shameful vice in secret). 8 Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do you to them as is good in your eyes (wisdom from the lukewarm Believer is always flawed, as is evidenced here): only unto these Men do nothing; for therefore came They under the shadow of my roof (we cannot profit by the world and, at the same time, bear effectual testimony against its wickedness). 9 And they said, Stand back. And they said again, This one fellow came in to sojourn, and he will needs be a judge (it seems that Lot, however, had spoken out against these things so often that the men of Sodom accused him of wanting to play the judge): now will we deal worse with you, than with Them. And they pressed sore upon the man, even Lot, and came near to break the door. (Due to Abraham having rescued many Sodomites from Chedorlaomer, evidently these homosexuals had declared Lot, the nephew of Abraham, off limits. But now, due to Lot’s protection of the two Angels, they are breaking their commitment to him.)

THE ANGELS

10 But the Men (the two Angels) put forth Their hand (opened the door and grabbed Lot), and pulled Lot into the house to Them, and shut to the door (little did these perverts know as to who these men actually were). 11 And they smote the men who were at the door of the house with blindness, both small and great: so that they wearied themselves to find the door (the word in the Hebrew actually means that they were not totally blind, but that they would not see properly).

LOT

12 And the Men (the Angels) said unto Lot, Have you here any besides? son in law, and your sons, and your daughters, and whatsoever you have in the city, bring them out of this place (to attempt to reprove the world’s ways, while we profit by association with it, is vanity; thus it was too with Lot’s testimony to his sons-in-law): 13 For We will destroy this place (has happened, no doubt, many times in many places in history past), because the cry of them is waxen great before the Face of the LORD (all sin is in God’s Face, which will ultimately, if not repented of, end in judgment); and the LORD has sent Us to destroy it.

GOD’S FORESIGHT FOR MAN

GENESIS 2:18 And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone (doesn’t mean that the idea of a companion for Adam suddenly presented itself to the Lord; God never intended that man should be alone); I will make him an help meet for him (this is not meant to infer that the creation of woman was an afterthought; there is no Plan of God that is incomplete!).

1 CORINTHIANS 6:11 And such were some of you (before conversion): but you are washed (refers to the Blood of Jesus cleansing from all sin), but you are Sanctified (one’s position in Christ), but you are Justified (declared not guilty) in the Name of the Lord Jesus (refers to Christ and what He did at the Cross, in order that we might be saved), and by the Spirit of our God (proclaims the Third Person of the Triune Godhead as the Mechanic in this great Work of Grace).

DAVID LEARNS OF SAUL’S DEATH

2 SAMUAL 1:1-27  1 Now it came to pass after the death of Saul, when David was returned from the slaughter of the Amalekites, and David had abode two days in Ziklag (using the phrase, “when David was returned,” the Holy Spirit has far more in mind than the return to Ziklag; David had, as well, returned from some 16 months of disobedience to God; what a glorious moment when the Child of God realizes his fault and his failure, and then “returns to total dependence on God”); 2 It came even to pass on the third day, that, behold, a man came out of the camp from Saul with his clothes rent, and earth upon his head: and so it was, when he came to David, that he fell to the earth, and did obeisance. 3 And David said unto him, From where do you come? And he said unto him, Out of the camp of Israel am I escaped. 4 And David said unto him, How went the matter? I pray you, tell me. And he answered, That the people are fled from the battle, and many of the people also are fallen and dead; and Saul and Jonathan his son are dead also. 5 And David said unto the young man who told him, How do you know that Saul and Jonathan his son are dead? 6 And the young man who told him said, As I happened by chance upon Mount Gilboa, behold, Saul leaned upon his spear; and, lo, the chariots and horsemen followed hard after him. 7 And when he looked behind him, he saw me, and called unto me. And I answered him, Here am I. 8 And he said unto me, Who are you? And I answered him, I am an Amalekite. 9 He said unto me again, Stand, I pray you, upon me, and kill me: for anguish is come upon me, because my life is yet whole in me. 10 So I stood upon him, and killed him, because I was sure that he could not live after that he was fallen: and I took the crown that was upon his head, and the bracelet that was on his arm, and have brought them hither unto my lord. (The story of the Amalekite is a most improbable fiction, and utterly untrue. He knew nothing as to the manner of Saul’s death, but found the body, probably sometime after the king had fallen. He then took these particular items from the corpse.) 11 Then David took hold on his clothes, and rent them; and likewise all the men who were with him: 12 And they mourned, and wept, and fasted until evening, for Saul, and for Jonathan his son, and for the people of the LORD, and for the House of Israel; because they were fallen by the sword. 13 And David said unto the young man who told him, Who are you? And he answered, I am the son of a stranger, an Amalekite. 14 And David said unto him, How was it that you were not afraid to stretch forth your hand to destroy the LORD’s anointed? 15 And David called one of the young men, and said, Go near, and fall upon him. And he smote him that he died. 16 And David said unto him, Your blood be upon your head; for your mouth has testified against you, saying, I have killed the LORD’s anointed. (“Amalek” is a type of the flesh. We will either kill it, or it will kill us. As well, it must ever be remembered that we cannot kill the “Amalekite” in our own strength. Flesh cannot overcome flesh. The Holy Spirit through us must slay “Amalek,” which He does upon our Faith being placed consistently in Christ and the Cross [Rom. 8:1-2, 11].)

THE LAMENTATION OF DAVID

17 And David lamented with this lamentation

over Saul and over Jonathan his son (this is really a martial ode, and one of the first and finest odes in the Old Testament; David’s own sufferings are forgotten while his fervent love and deep grief for his king and his best friend, Jonathan, are expressed; there is no bitter or revengeful word or exultation over the death of his greatest enemy, Saul): 18 (Also he bade them teach the Children of Judah the use of the bow: behold, it is written in the book of Jasher [the title of the ode in Hebrew is “Kesheth, the bow.” The Book of Jasher would be equivalent to “Hero-book.” The Hebrews always looked to the moral rather than the physical prowess of their great men].) 19 The beauty of Israel is slain upon your high places: how are the mighty fallen! (Only a Divine love could cause David to speak thusly about the man who had made many attempts to kill him.) 20 Tell it not in Gath, publish it not in the streets of Askelon; lest the daughters of the Philistines rejoice, lest the daughters of the uncircumcised triumph (in the course of time, “Tell it not in Gath” became a proverb [Mic. 1:10]). 21 You mountains of Gilboa, let there be no dew, neither let there be rain, upon you, nor fields of offerings: for there the shield of the mighty is vilely cast away, the shield of Saul, as though he had not been anointed with oil (it should have been translated, “For there the shield of heroes, yea, the shield of Saul, was defiled,” stained, that is, with blood). 22 From the blood of the slain, from the fat of the mighty, the bow of Jonathan turned not back, and the sword of Saul returned not empty. 23 Saul and Jonathan were lovely and pleasant in their lives, and in their death they were not divided: they were swifter than eagles, they were stronger than lions. (Jonathan had ever been his father’s faithful friend and companion; moreover, his affection for David never made him untrue to the ties of natural affection. And David generously commends his friend for thus acting.) 24 You daughters of Israel, weep over Saul, who clothed you in scarlet, with other delights, who put on ornaments of gold upon your apparel. 25 How are the mighty fallen in the midst of the battle! O Jonathan, you were slain in your high places. 26 I am distressed for you, my brother Jonathan: very pleasant have you been unto me: your love to me was wonderful, passing the love of women (never was there a purer friendship than that of Jonathan for David). 27 How are the mighty fallen, and the weapons of war perished! (Saul won many great victories for Israel, but never conquered the demons within himself; consequently, he was ultimately killed by that from without, because he never conquered that from within. It is a lesson we should studiously learn.)

JONATHAN’S FRIENDSHIP WITH DAVID

1 SAMUAL 19:1-24 And Saul spoke to Jonathan his son, and to all his servants, that they should kill David. (As we have repeatedly said, the “flesh” must always persecute the “Spirit.” This is a spiritual war that began at the very outset [Cain and Abel], and will not cease until the Trump of God sounds. The biggest enemy to the Work of God is religion, which is a product of the flesh. That’s where Satan does his best and most destructive work. [Religion is a concoction of man, designed to reach God, or to better one’s self in someway. In any form it is unacceptable to God.]) 2 But Jonathan Saul’s son delighted much in David: and Jonathan told David, saying, Saul my father seeks to kill you: now therefore, I pray you, take heed to yourself until the morning, and abide in a secret place, and hide yourself: 3 And I will go out and stand beside my father in the field where you are, and I will commune with my father of you; and what I see, that I will tell you. 4 And Jonathan spoke good of David unto Saul his father, and said unto him, Let not the king sin against his servant, against David; because he has not sinned against you, and because his works have been to you-ward very good: 5 For he did put his life in his hand, and killed the Philistine, and the LORD wrought a great salvation for all Israel: you saw it, and did
rejoice: wherefore then will you sin against innocent blood, to kill David without a cause? 6 And Saul hearkened unto the voice of Jonathan: and Saul swore, As the LORD lives, he shall not be killed. 7 And Jonathan called David, and Jonathan showed him all those things. And Jonathan brought David to Saul, and he was in his presence, as in times past.

SAUL AGAIN TRIES TO KILL DAVID

8 And there was war again: and David went out, and fought with the Philistines, and killed them with a great slaughter; and they fled from him. 9 And the evil spirit from the LORD was upon Saul, as he sat in his house with his javelin in his hand: and David played (the harp) with his hand. 10 And Saul sought to smite David even to the wall with the javelin; but he slipped away out of Saul’s presence, and he smote the javelin into the wall: and David fled, and escaped that night. 11 Saul also sent messengers unto David’s house, to watch him, and to kill him in the morning: and Michal David’s wife told him, saying, If you save not your life tonight, tomorrow you shall be slain. (Williams says, “Saul presents here a sad and terrible picture! One moment generous and kind; the next, murderous and cruel! One moment controlled by the Spirit of God; the next, by the spirit of the demon! A useless ruined vessel, his life was wrecked because he hated David. Apart from that hatred, little is recorded to lead to the belief that his public or private conduct was unworthy of a man and a king; and men would have little known that there were such depths of malignity in his character had David never appeared. David’s person and victories made manifest Saul’s true character. “So was it with man when the Greater than David appeared. His apparition immediately made manifest fallen man’s true nature; just as light makes manifest darkness.”) 12 So Michal let David down through a window: and he went, and fled, and escaped. 13 And Michal took an image, and laid it in the bed, and put a pillow of goats’ hair for his bolster, and covered it with a cloth. 14 And when Saul sent messengers to take David, she said, He is sick. 15 And Saul sent the messengers again to see David, saying, Bring him up to me in the bed, that I may kill him. 16 And when the messengers were come in, behold, there was an image in the bed, with a pillow of goats’ hair for his bolster. 17 And Saul said unto Michal, Why have you deceived me so, and sent away my enemy, that he is escaped? And Michal answered Saul, He said unto me, Let me go; why should I kill you? (Michal pretends that David had told her not to force him to kill her by refusing to give aid in his escape.)

SAMUEL

18 So David fled, and escaped, and came to Samuel to Ramah, and told him all that Saul had done to him. And he and Samuel went and dwelt in Naioth. 19 And it was told Saul, saying, Behold, David is at Naioth in Ramah (a school for Prophets). 20 And Saul sent messengers to take David: and when they saw the company of the Prophets prophesying, and Samuel standing as appointed over them, the Spirit of God was upon the messengers of Saul, and they also prophesied (which turned them away from their murderous mission). 21 And when it was told Saul, he sent other messengers, and they prophesied likewise. And Saul sent messengers again the third time, and they prophesied also. 22 Then went he also to Ramah, and came to a great well that is in Sechu: and he asked and said, Where are Samuel and David? And one said, Behold, they be at Naioth in Ramah. 23 And he went thither to Naioth in Ramah: and the Spirit of God was upon him also, and he went on, and prophesied, until he came to Naioth in Ramah (this records the last attempt by God to salvage Saul; as would be obvious, this prophesy was from the “Spirit of God” and not evil spirits). 24 And he stripped off his clothes also, and prophesied before Samuel in like manner, and lay down naked all that day and all that night. Wherefore they say, Is Saul also among the prophets? (It does not mean that Saul stripped off his clothing. It means that he stripped off his armor and kingly robes. In other words, he was “naked” of these items, but not naked as we think of nakedness. As stated, this was God’s last attempt to bring Saul back to the right way. After this, Saul would go even deeper into spiritual oblivion.)

INTRODUCTION

ROMANS 1:1-32 Paul (the only Bible writer who discarded his Jewish name [Saul] for his Gentile name [Paul]), a servant (a voluntary Bondslave) of Jesus Christ, called to be an Apostle (he puts “Bondslave” ahead of Apostle), separated unto the Gospel of God (means that Paul was separated by God from all mankind for his Apostleship), 2 (Which He (God) had promised afore by His Prophets in the Holy Scriptures,) (He promised the Redeemer, Who would be the Lord Jesus Christ.) 3 Concerning His Son Jesus Christ our Lord (speaks of Jesus being the Core Message of the Old Testament), which was made (signifies entrance into a new condition) of the Seed of David (through the family of David) according to the flesh (the Incarnation, God becoming man); 4 And declared to be the Son of God with power (He was the Son of David regarding His Humanity, and the Son of God regarding His Deity), according to the Spirit of Holiness (presents another Name for the Holy Spirit), by the Resurrection from the dead (the Jews Crucified Jesus because He claimed to be the Son of God; God Resurrected Him because He was the Son of God): 5 By Whom (by God) we have received Grace (unmerited favor) and Apostleship (the Call), for obedience to the Faith (Jesus Christ and Him Crucified) among all nations (one Gospel for the entirety of the world), for His Name (He is the One Who has purchased our Redemption, by and through the Cross of Calvary); 6 Among whom (all Believers) are you also the called of Jesus Christ (every person who is saved has been called of the Lord from something to something): 7 To all who be in Rome, Beloved of God, called to be Saints (“to be” was improperly supplied by the Translators; every person who is saved is a Saint, and made so by Jesus Christ and what He did at the Cross): Grace to you (which comes through the Cross) and Peace (Sanctifying Peace) from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ (presents the Trinity, with the Holy Spirit inspiring these words to be written).

THANKSGIVING

8 First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world (speaks of the Roman Empire). 9 For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit (his human spirit) in the Gospel of His Son (Jesus Christ and Him Crucified), that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers (Paul had a strong prayer life); 10 Making request (has to do with seeking the Lord about a certain thing, in this case the privilege of ministering to the Church at Rome), if by any means now at length I might have a prosperous journey by the Will of God to come unto you (Acts, Chpts. 27 and 28, record that journey; it was very prosperous spiritually, but not prosperous in other ways). 11 For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift (does not mean, as some think, that Paul could impart one or more of the nine Gifts of the Spirit, but rather speaks of explaining to them more perfectly the Word of God), to the end you may be established (spiritual Gifts, as valuable as they are, do not establish anyone; it is the Truth of the Word which establishes, and that alone [Jn. 8:32]); 12 That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me (carries the idea of a mutual strengthening brought about by his Ministry among them, and their Love shown to him). 13 Now I would not have you ignorant, Brethren (a phrase often used by Paul), that oftentimes I purposed to come unto you, (but was let hitherto,) (something hindered) that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among other Gentiles (he knew that his teaching concerning the Cross would help them to grow in Grace). 14 I am debtor (true of every Believer) both to the Greeks, and to the Barbarians; both to the wise, and to the unwise (to all people, whomever they might be, and wherever they might be). 15 So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the Gospel to you who are at Rome also.

THE POWER

16 For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ (is said in reference to the Cross): for it is the Power of God unto Salvation to every one who believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek (through the Cross, and the Cross alone, man is reconciled unto God). 17 For therein (through the Cross) is the Righteousness of God (Right with God) revealed from faith to faith (“from Faith” relates to God as the Provider and “to Faith” relates to man as the receiver): as it is written, The just shall live by Faith (proclaims Paul showing that Righteousness by Faith is no new idea, but found in the Prophets [Hab. 2:4]).

GUILT

18 For the Wrath of God (God’s Personal Emotion with regard to sin) is revealed from Heaven (this anger originates with God) against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men (God must unalterably be opposed to sin), who hold the truth in unrighteousness (who refuse to recognize Who God is, and what God is); 19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them (speaks of the universal objective knowledge of God as the Creator, which is more or less in all men); for God has showed it unto them (means that His Signature is in Creation). 20 For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen (explains Verse 19), being understood by the things that are made (Creation demands a Creator), even His Eternal Power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse (the Creation tells us of the Eternal Power of God, and is obvious to all):

APOSTASY

21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified Him not as God (if men do not understand God in the realm of Creation, they will not understand Him in anything else), neither were thankful (refusing to honor Him resulted in a lack of gratitude for His Gifts); but became vain in their imaginations (presents the only direction that fallen man can go, considering he has rejected God), and their foolish heart was darkened (speaks of the rejection of Light). 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools (lays waste to all so-called wisdom which is not of God), 23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God (presents the sin of the ages, and points not only to the heathen of old, but also much of modern Christendom) into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four-footed beasts, and creeping things (proclaims the degeneration of man, which is the opposite of evolution).

RESULTS OF APOSTASY

24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts (not merely permissive, but God judicially delivered them over), to dishonour their own bodies between themselves (speaks of every type of immorality): 25 Who changed the Truth of God into a lie (refers back to Verse 23, which speaks of spiritual and sexual uncleanness), and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator (this refers to man worshiping the creation of his own hands, which means that he is worshiping something less than himself), Who is blessed forever. Amen (should have been translated “Bless-ed” [two syllables], because it refers to the One doing the blessing, in this case the Lord). 26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections (the Lord removed His restraints and, therefore, gave them unimpeded access to their desires): for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature (in short speaks of Lesbianism): 27 And likewise also the men (homosexuality), leaving the natural use of the woman (speaks of the sex act which is performed between the man and his wife), burned in their lust one toward another (raging lust); men with men working that which is unseemly (specifies its direction, which is total perversion), and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet (refers to the penalty attached to wrongdoing). 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge (carries the idea of the human race putting God to the test for the purpose of approving or disapproving Him), God gave them over to a reprobate mind (Light rejected is Light withdrawn), to do those things which are not convenient (which are not fitting);

APOSTATES

29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful (these things listed are the end results of forsaking God, which is the reason for all the strife in the world): 32 Who knowing the judgment of God (in essence saying, “do Your worst, and it will not stop us”), that they which commit such things are worthy of death (Divine Judgment is implied), not only do the same, but have pleasure in them who do them (proclaims the result of the “reprobate mind”).

THE FALL OF MAN

GENESIS 3:1-24 1 Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made (the word “subtle,” as used here, is not negative, but rather positive; everything that God made before the Fall was positive; it describes qualities such as quickness of sight, swiftness of motion, activity of self-preservation, and seemingly intelligent adaptation to its surroundings). And he said unto the woman (not a fable; the serpent before the Fall had the ability of limited speech; Eve did not seem surprised when he spoke to her!), Yes, has God said, You shall not eat of every tree of the Garden? (The serpent evidently lent its faculties to Satan, even though the Evil One is not mentioned. That being the case, Satan spoke through the serpent, and questioned the Word of God.) 2 And the woman said unto the serpent (proclaims Satan leveling his attack against Eve, instead of Adam; his use of Eve was only a means to get to Adam), We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the Garden (the trial of our first parents was ordained by God, because probation was essential to their spiritual development and self-determination; but as He did not desire that they should be tempted to their Fall, He would not suffer Satan to tempt them in a way that would surpass their human capacity; the tempted might, therefore, have resisted the tempter): 3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the Garden, God has said, You shall not eat of it, neither shall you touch it, lest you die (Eve quoted what the Lord had said about the prohibition, but then added, “neither shall you touch it”). 4 And the serpent said unto the woman, You shall not surely die (proclaims an outright denial of the Word of God; as God had preached to Adam, Satan now preaches to Eve; Jesus called Satan a liar, which probably refers to this very moment [Jn. 8:44]): 5 For God does know that in the day you eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened (suggests the attainment of higher wisdom), and you shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. (In effect says, “You shall be Elohim.” It was a promise of Divinity. God is Omniscient, meaning that His knowledge of evil is thorough, but not by personal experience. By His very Nature, He is totally separate from all that is evil. The knowledge of evil that Adam and Eve would learn would be by moral degradation, which would bring wreckage. While it was proper to desire to be like God, it is proper only if done in the right way, and that is through Faith in Christ and what He has done for us at the Cross.) 6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food (presents the lust of the eyes), and that it was pleasant to the eyes (the lust of the flesh), and a tree to be desired to make one wise (the pride of life), she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat (constitutes the Fall), and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat (refers to the fact that evidently Adam was an observer to all these proceedings; some claim that he ate of the forbidden fruit which she offered him out of love for her; however, no one ever sins out of love; Eve submitted to the temptation out of deception, but “Adam was not deceived” [I Tim. 2:14]; he fell because of unbelief; he simply didn’t believe what God had said about the situation; contrast Verse 6 with Luke 4:1-13; both present the three temptations, “the lust of the flesh,” “the lust of the eyes,” and “the pride of life”; the first man falls, the Second Man conquers). 7 And the eyes of them both were opened (refers to the consciousness of guilt as a result of their sin), and they knew that they were naked (refers to the fact that they had lost the enswathing light of purity, which previously had clothed their bodies); and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons (sinners clothe themselves with morality, sacraments, and religious ceremonies; they are as worthless as Adam’s apron of fig leaves). 8 And they heard the Voice of the LORD God walking in the Garden in the cool of the day (the “Voice” of the Lord had once been a welcome sound; it is now a dreaded sound, because of their sin; it is not that the Voice of the Lord had changed, for it hadn’t; it was the same Voice that they had heard since creation; He hadn’t changed, but they had): and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the Garden (here is the dawn of a new era in the history of humanity; the eye of a guilty conscience is now opened for the first time, and God and the universe appear in new and terrible forms). 9 And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where are you? (This is the first question in the Old Testament. “Where is he?” is the first question in the New Testament [Mat. 2:2]. The Old Testament, God seeking the sinner; the New Testament, the sinner seeking God.) 10 And he (Adam) said, I heard Your Voice in the Garden, and I was afraid (fear is the first reaction of fallen man; Adam’s consciousness of the effects of sin was keener than his sense of the sin itself), because I was naked; and I hid myself (he was naked to the Judgment of God, because of sin, which must be judged; he tried to hide himself from God, even as untold millions have, but never with any success; God wanted Adam to know that he who hides himself from Him is never hidden from Him, and that he who runs away from Him can never escape Him). 11 And He said, Who told you that you were naked (carries Adam’s mind from the effect to the sin that had caused it; as long as a man feels sorrow only for the results of his action, there is no Repentance, and no wish to return to the Divine Presence)? Have you eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded you that you should not eat? (The way the question is framed removes the pretext of ignorance, and also points to the fact that the sin had been carried out in direct violation of the Divine prohibition [Calvin].) 12 And the man said, The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat (Adam first of all blamed God, and then blamed Eve; he recapitulates the history, as if, in his view, it was a matter of course that he should act as he had done; man has been doing this ever since). 13 And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that you have done? (The two questions, “Where are you?” and “What is this that you have done?” comprise the human problem.) And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat (presents Eve blaming the serpent; in a sense, she was blaming God as well, simply because God had made the serpent).

THE ADAMIC COVENANT AND CURSES

14 And the LORD God said unto the serpent (as we shall see, presents no question or interrogation being posed toward the serpent at all; God judges him, and it is in listening to this judgment that the guilty pair hear the first great Promise respecting Christ), Because you have done this, you are cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field (refers to this animal being reduced from possibly the highest place and position in the animal kingdom to the lowest); upon your belly shall you go, and dust shall you eat all the days of your life (if in fact the serpent was an unwitting tool in the hand of Satan, then I think that the Lord would not have placed a curse upon this animal): 15 And I will put enmity (animosity) between you and the woman (presents the Lord now actually speaking to Satan, who had used the serpent; in effect, the Lord is saying to Satan, “You used the woman to bring down the human race, and I will use the woman as an instrument to bring the Redeemer into the world, Who will save the human race”), and between your seed (mankind which follows Satan) and her Seed (the Lord Jesus Christ); it (Christ) shall bruise your head (the Victory that Jesus won at the Cross [Col. 2:14-15]), and you shall bruise His Heel (the sufferings of the Cross). 16 Unto the woman He said, I will greatly multiply your sorrow and your conception (the original Plan of God was that husband and wife would bring sons and daughters of God into the world; due to the Fall, they can only bring sons and daughters into the world in the “likeness of Adam” [Gen. 5:3]); in sorrow you shall bring forth children (as a result of the Fall, children would be born into a world of sorrow); and your desire shall be to your husband, and he shall rule over you (her husband, instead of God, would now rule over her). 17 And unto Adam He said, Because you have hearkened unto the voice of your wife (Adam hearkened unto his wife instead of God), and have eaten of the tree, of which I commanded you, saying, You shall not eat of it (the tree itself contained no evil properties in the fruit; the Fall, as stated, was caused rather by disobedience to the Word of God): cursed is the ground for your sake; in sorrow shall you eat of it all the days of your life (Earth was originally intended to be a paradise, but now it will give up its largesse reluctantly; as well, the phrase, “all the days of your life,” proclaims the death sentence, which means that life is now terminal, all as a result of “spiritual death,” which was, and is, separation from God); 18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to you (thorns and thistles were not originally in the creation of God, this being a result of the curse, which is a result of the sin of man); and you shall eat the herb of the field (this would not now grow freely, as originally intended, but only now with great care and great labor); 19 In the sweat of your face shall you eat bread (food will be obtained by hard labor), till you return unto the ground (the life-source, which was formerly in God, is now in food, and which is woefully insufficient); for out of it were you taken: for dust you are, and unto dust shall you return (the Power of God alone could keep the dust alive; that being gone, to dust man returns). 20 And Adam called his wife’s name Eve; because she was the mother of all living. (God named the man, and called him Adam, which means “red earth.” Adam named the woman, and called her Eve, which means “life.” Adam bears the name of the dying body, Eve of the living soul.) 21 Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them (in the making of coats of skins, God, in effect, was telling Adam and Eve that their fig leaves were insufficient; as well, He was teaching them that without the shedding of blood, which pertained to the animals that gave their lives, which were Types of Christ, is no remission of sin; in this first sacrifice was laid the foundation of the entirety of the Plan of God as it regards Redemption; also, it must be noticed that it is the “LORD God” Who furnished these coats, and not man himself; this tells us that Salvation is altogether of God and not at all of man; the Life of Christ given on the Cross, and given as our Substitute, provides the only covering for sin; everything else must be rejected).

EXPULSION FROM THE GARDEN

22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of Us, to know good and evil (the Lord knew evil, not by personal experience, but rather through Omniscience; man now knows evil by becoming evil, which is the fountainhead of all sorrow in the world; the pronoun “Us” signifies the Godhead, “God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit”): and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the Tree of Life, and eat, and live forever (this would have been the worst thing of all, to have an Adolf Hitler to live forever, etc.): 23 Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the Garden of Eden (in effect, this was an act of mercy; man is expelled from the Garden, lest by eating the Tree of Life he should perpetuate his misery; but God’s Love for him, though fallen and guilty, is so strong that He accompanies him into exile; as well, through Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, Who will be given in Sacrifice, the Lord will show Adam, and all who would follow him, how to come back into Paradise; regrettably, there is no record that Adam and Eve placed any faith in the Lord; unfortunately, untold billions have followed suit), to till the ground from whence he was taken (refers to a place of toil, not to a place of torment). 24 So He (God) drove out the man (implies the idea of force and displeasure); and He placed at the east of the Garden of Eden Cherubims (these Cherubims signified the Holiness of God, which man had now forfeited), and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the Tree of Life (the “flaming sword” was emblematic of the Divine Glory in its attitude towards sin).
